Chapter 2 Collision

In the dark and empty street, an old man with a hunched back was walking slowly.

"Ai, come out, following me from the back of the mountain to here, are you intending to do anything to me?" The old man raised his head and looked at the empty darkness with a pair of bright eyes.

Ripples spread through in the darkness, and then a white-robed man appeared out of thin air.

"The old man doesn't want to fight. You should tell me why you are here, saving unnecessary fights," the old man stood calmly. He was not surprised by the person who appeared out of thin air.

"Who are you? Why are you following that young man? What are your intentions?" The white-robed man asked sternly.

"Oh, why are you so concerned about this young man? What's the relationship between you and him?" The old man asked back.

Since the old man did not answer his question, the white-robed man gently waved his hands, condensing the light-white elements in his palms.

"You are so impulsive, always tempting to solve problems using force. Ai, I just feel pity for my aging body," the old man shook his head and sighed.

"Save your magic. With your Eleventh Grade strength, you can't do anything to me. Although you have mastered the space element magic, it can't cause me any harm."

The old man looked at the white-robed man again. A terrifying force gushed out from his body, and the air around him instantly froze.

The white-robed man was stunned, and a white light screen formed around him to block the terrifying charging force.

"Well, your spatial energy is very solid. However, it will be better for you to train for two more years before combating with me. I'm not in the mood right now," the old man took back his terrifying force, and the space returned to calmness.

The white-robed man clenched his fists. Even though he knew that he couldn't compete against the mysterious old man, he was concerned about the safety of Kong'er. Without knowing the old man's intention, he would not let go of his guard.

"He is one of the members of Li Family. If you have any evil intentions towards him, you need to make sure that your own strength can fight against the entire Li Family," the white-robed man bowed to the old man and said slowly.

Although he could not compete against the old man in front of him, Li Tianxing believed that with the whole family, they could confront the old man. After all, after developing for thousands of years, the strength of the Li Family could not be trifled with.

"The Li Family in Jian'an? It seems that this kid's status is very high?" The old man put away his vigilance and stroked his beard with a smile.

"He is the next heir to the family," Li Tianxing said directly. He intended to frighten the old man, then he would not attack Li Kong.

"Save your aura. I mean no harm to him," the old man looked at the white-robed man who was still nervous.

"Did Li Family use a lot of methods, but still fail to stimulate the elements in his body?"

"How do you know?" Li Tianxing was stunned by the old man's question.

"I sensed a lot of energy in his body that has yet to dissipate. Coupled with his special corporeity, no matter what method you use, it won't work," the old man turned around and continued walking forward without looking at the white-robed man.

Hearing the old man's words, Li Tianxing seemed to grasp something. "Sir, please wait a moment. I hope you can tell me the method. If Li Kong's elements could be stimulated, Li Family would repay you generously."

"You don't have to be so polite. The reason I am here is also because of this kid. You can rest assured that I don't have any bad intentions towards him. Such a good disciple is not so easy to find," the old man waved his hand and said calmly.

Hearing the old man's words, Li Tianxing was overjoyed and quickly followed the old man.

"Why did you send him to this place?"

"Sir, there is something you don't know. My younger brother had a grudge with Shadow Killing Pavilion, so they threaten to kill the direct descendants of the Li Family. And Kong'er is the only descendant of the Li Family. In order to protect him, I had no choice but to send him to this place," Li Tianxing smiled helplessly.

"Shadow Killing Pavilion? I have heard before. This decision is good, but it has been hard on this child," the old man sighed and felt worried.

"But don't worry, this child is very outstanding. He will be my disciple, and I will teach him what I have learned in my life."

"Li Family is not able to repay your great kindness. If there is anything I can help you with, please tell me. I will do my best to help you," Li Tianxing once again cupped his fists and thanked the old man, his voice full of gratitude.

"You don't have to be so polite with me," the old man said casually.

"Old Mister, Kong'er's father asked me to pass this to Kong'er. Since Old Mister wants to take Kong'er as a disciple, I will give it to you."

After saying that, Li Tianxing stretched out his hand into the void. A long spear with sparkling silver light appeared, and the void was distorted because of the aura emitted by the long spear.

The old man reached out and took it. He felt it in his hand and said, "Yes, it's a good spear. I will pass it to him."

The old man waved his hand and the silver spear disappeared. The turbulent space returned to peace.

Li Tianxing was shocked. He did not expect that the old man in front of him was also a space element mage. He respected the old man even more.

"Alright, I've finished what I need to say. It's time for you to leave. If you stay here for too long and Shadow Killing Pavilion's people notice you, then you will be bringing trouble to Brat Kong for no reason," after saying that, the old man disappeared in a flash.

"Thank you for your concern," Li Tianxing bowed deeply towards the void, and his figure gradually fainted. Soon, the quiet street was empty.

Only the ripples that continuously spread into the distance proved that space element mages were here just now...

The space behind Yangzhou City stirred gently, and the old man returned to the place where he met Li Kong at dusk.

He extended his hand into the night sky and continuously slapped it, stirring the surrounding space. A transparent vortex slowly appeared in front of the old man, and the old man stepped into it. After the old man entered into it, the transparent vortex slowly disappeared.

Ordinary people would never have imagined that there would be such a scene on the back mountain that they had played for so many years.

"Master, senior apprentice brothers, the endless void has begun to shake again. Even the seals of the other forbidden lands have begun to loosen. Perhaps in a few years, the darkness will sweep over this beautiful land. In the past, there were you all, but now you have all become part of this land, leaving me alone. I am so lonely.

I wonder if humanity will be able to survive this calamity," the old man looked at the endless void and muttered to himself. His eyes were filled with loneliness.

"Master, no matter how powerful you were back then, you still couldn't wipe out all of the dark beasts. I'm afraid that it will be difficult for the people nowadays to defend."

"But fortunately, a corporeity like yours has appeared. I will definitely do my best to nurture him into an expert that can resolve this calamity." As he said this, the old man's lonely eyes glowed once more.

"Ai, I almost forget. I have to quickly prepare the items for Brat Kong's cultivation. He is twelve years old, and the First Grade magic cultivation should start."

Then, the old man turned around and entered the small wooden house, starting to get busy.

The moonlight shone on the stooped figure of the old man, making him look even older. However, the explosive power that this old man had just shown made even a powerful Eleventh Grade mage feel fear.

"Tianyuan, don't worry and do what you want to do. Kong'er is doing very well now, and he has been chosen by a mage expert to be his disciple," said the white-robed man excitedly to the azure-robed man beside him in the solemn hall.

"That is a Twelfth Grade space element mage."

"This is also good. I can also feel more at ease and charge into the barrier of the Eleventh Grade. As long as I can breakthrough, I will go and rescue her. She has been waiting in that dark place for twelve years," the green-robed man smiled bitterly. His tone was extremely firm.

The white-robed man gently patted Li Tianyuan. For a moment, he did not know what to say.
