Chapter 36;

(First Person's POV;)

We were screaming for help but nobody came to rescue us. Oh my poor soul, looks like Velion will kill us all. I'm pretty sure he was the one who dragged us inside this hollow.

"Ana help me!" I heard Diane screaming but I couldn't figure out where she is because all I could see is complete darknes. It's like I'm twirling around a dark space covered with smoke.

"Diane, we'll be fine okay?" I tried to calm her down.

"I hope so," she answered nervously.

"Stop being an idiot Diane! We're going to be fine!" Lyndon shouted that made me laugh.

"You're the only idiot here erotic prince!" Diane shouted back.

These two are really unpredictable. They were so sweet earlier, and now they're acting like they were annoyed with each other's presence.

I was about to speak when all of a sudden ,I felt my butt touched a hard surface.

"Ouch!" We all groaned and moments later, we found ourselves in an empty white room.

"Where are we?" I asked as we all stood up from the floor.

"The same question goes on in my mind," Diane answered which made me pout. Gosh where are we?

"Just wait and see," Leanna said before she vanished into thin air.

"All the people here have a habbit of vanishing into thin air instead of explaining," Lyndon said which made me laugh hard.

"I agree with you on this," Diane suddenly blurted out.

"Welcome to your training on power control," We heard a voice and we started to look around to look for that someone who spoke.

"Who was that?" Diane asked in horror.

"It's me silly child." Grandpa Zeus suddenly appeared infront of us and he almost give us a heart attack. His sister, grandma Hestia appeared next to him with a smile on her face.

"You scared us grandpa, we thought we were already abducted by Velion." Grandpa laughed so hard with my words.

"Silly granddaughter of mine, Velion won't be able to sneak inside the heaven realm because of the barrier we created," he said with a chuckle.

"We don't know about that," Diane answered sarcastically which made her receive a glare from Lyndon.

"Don't be so disrespectful Diane, you're talking to the highest God," Lyndon reminded her.

"Oh sorry God Zeus, I did not mean to be disrespectful," Diane apologized to grandpa.

"It's okay, I know that's not what you actually mean," grandpa answered with a smile. Diane smiled at him and then stared at Lyndon with wide eyes as if telling him that she won.

"Grandpa, I think you're missing one tiny detail. We don't have powers yet," I told him.

He laughed and a tiny box appeared right infront of Lyndon and Diane.

"Open your box," he instructed them. While I just stood there watching them with curiosity written all over my face.

They opened it at the same time and a jewel appeared in each one of the boxes. There was a blue jewel on Lyndon's and a green one on Diane's.

"Take it and let it enter your body, for those are your powers."

Lyndon and Diane nervously stared at each other first before doing what my grandpa told them. I watch them carefully without even blinking an eye because I badly want to see what's going to happen.

A few moments later the whole room was covered in blue and green light.

"Wow!" It's like I'm seeing a rainbow in here, but of course with only two colors.

The crystals entered their body and to my surprise their eyes changed colors and it glowed same with the color of their crystal.

"Amazing!" I exclaimed while looking at my friends.

When the light disappeared, grandpa waved his hand and another two boxes appeared in front of them. But this time, it's way much bigger than the first ones.

"Lyndon , look at the box in front of you and wish for it to be covered with ice," Grandpa instructed Lyndon. He closed his eyes first then he stared intently at the box.

To my surprise, tiny ice crystals appeared and few seconds later the box was already frozen.

Lyndon stared at grandpa with wide eyes. It's as if his mind wasn't able to process what had just happened.

"You did it! Your body accepted your new power so fast," grandpa praised him.

"So, his new power is ice?" I couldn't believe Lyndon could actually wield that power so fast.

"Yes and his body gladly accepted it," grandpa stated.

"Now, it's Diane's turn." Grandma Hestia walked towards her and stared at her for a second.

"Focus princess, focus," she reminded her which Diane answered with a nod.

Grandma Hestia used her powers to put a small seed on top of the box.

"I want you to use your power to grow that seed," she instructed. Diane swallowed the lump in her throat and I could feel her nervousness.

She closed her eyes and pointed her middle finger to the box. Then a green light appeared from her finger to the seed.

The seed started to develop some sprout and I could no longer hide my excitement.

A leaf was about to come out from it's stem but it disappeared before it could even grow bigger.

I noticed Diane's hands were already shaking. She must have been so nervous.

"Focus Diane, focus!" grandma Hestia reminded her.

She closed her eyes again and this time her hands were no longer shaking.

Then slowly she made everything perfect. And from a tiny seed she turned it into a tall apple tree bearing fruits all over it.

Her eyes glittered when she saw the outcome.

"I did it!" She jumped out of joy. And I couldn't help but be happy for her as well.

I run towards her and gave her a hug.

"You're amazing Diane!" I praised.

"Thank you Ana, I thought I wasn't going to make it. But I'm glad I did! I actually did!" she shouted with excitement.

"A little focus and then you're fine," grandma Hestia said with a smile.

"Congratulations Diane," Lyndon said then he winked at her. And I was so happy to see Diane's cheeks turned red once again.

"Now, it's your turn my dear grandchild," grandpa said pertaining to me. All of a sudden I felt my heart beating so fast. My friends did it perfectly, what if a different thing happened to me?

"You can do it!" Diane cheered me up when she noticed that I suddenly felt nervous.

"We believe in you," Lyndon whispered which made me smile. Yes, my friends believe in me, I know my family believes in me as well so I have to believe in myself.

"I can do this!" I said confidently.

"That's my girl!" Grandma Hestia said proudly while grandpa simply smiled at me.

"Now, I want you to summon your symbol. The rubies and white doves. Let's see if they will listen to your voice," grandpa challenged me.

I closed my eyes and think about thousands of rubies and doves.

"Please listen to me," I begged.

Minutes have passed already but still there are no signs of doves and not even a single ruby. I'm starting to doubt myself, what if I'm no really the chosen one? What am I going to do?
