"What shall we do now?" Diane said in panick. They were on their way to Alectrona's home on top of the mountain.

They were walking on the dark woods and there's not even a sign of life there. It seems like even the animals were hiding because they're too afraid of the never ending night.

"If we see Alectrona there, it would be the best option for us to bring her with us to the heaven realm, but if she's no longer herself then we have to prepare to defend ourselves," Leanna reminded everyone.

"She's right, we have to be prepared for anything," Lyndon added.

"And where the hell do you think you're going?" A cold voice from behind suddenly spoke.

"Who's that?" Princess Ana shouted as she motioned everyone to ready their weapons. Lyndon took out his sword while Diane prepared her bow and arrow. Leanna stood infront of Princess Ana to protect her from sudden attacks.

"HAHAHAHAHA how rude of you my dear cousin. You seem to be forgetful nowadays. It's bad."

All of a sudden Princess Ana remembered something. That voice, it's her cousin's voice!

"Amira?"

"HAHAHAHAHA binggo! You got it right pretty little cousin of mine."

"Amira! You're still as evil as before!" Leanna shouted angrily.

"HAHAHAHA and you? Still a servant like before? Pathetic boring life," she mocked her.

"Atleast she's on the right path!" Diane yelled at her angrily.

"Oh shut up brat! Who cares if you're on the right path or not! The only thing that you should care about is your lives. Because I'm going to kill all of you one by one! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Amira's evil voice echoed the whole place.

Dark knights appeared everywhere attacking Princess Ana and her friends.

"Now is your chance to prove yourself my dear cousin," Amira challenged her. "Oh and by the way, Alectrona is no longer here. You're just wasting your time because she's already one of us. She stays beside king Velion HAHAHAHA" the last words she said before her voice vanished.

"Arrrrrgghhh Amira I'm going to kill you!" Diane shouted angrily but it's too late because Amira already vanished.

They fought against the dark knights with all their might.

Diane created a poisonous arrow and struck the enemies one by one. While Lyndon used his powers to freeze the enemies who's trying to attack him.

Ana Mae and Leanna on the other hand fought side by side to defeat the enemy. But to their surprise, no matter how many enemies they have killed, still the number of the dark knights remained the same as it was when they first attacked them.

"They don't die," Lyndon said in panick.

"Yes they are like zombies returning back to life!" Diane added after shooting an arrow.

"What shall we do now your highness?" Leanna tried to ask for Ana Mae's opinion.

"If they don't die, that means they were turned to dark spirits," she said which made Leanna think for a moment.

"And dark spirits will only be defeated by light," she thought after smashing one enemy down.

"Your highess summon the white doves here!" Leanna told Ana Mae.

"For what reason?" Ana Mae was a bit curious on how the white doves could defeat their enemies.

"They carry heavenly light with them. The moment they showed up ,these bunch of dark spirits would disappear!" Leanna explained to her.

Ana Mae did not hesitate for another second. She closed her eyes while Lyndon, Diane, and Leanna protected her from possible attacks.

"Oh symbols of peace the ones who carry heavenly light please hear my plea come and defeat these monsters," she whispered. And in just a few seconds the white doves appeared and the heavenly light spread throughout the entire woods. Causing all the dark knights to vanish into thin air.

"We did it!" Diane shouted happily.

"Well, there's nothing wrong with team work," Princess Ana Mae said before she let the white doves go back to her necklace. The whole place was turned into complete darkness once again.

"What shall we do next? According to that witch Amira, Alectrona is no longer here. She's also infected with the dark spell," Diane exclaimed.

"We still have one option left, we have to meet the white oracles and convince them to take our side," Leanna suggested.

"Let's go then!"

"No your highness, it's not that easy to win their hearts. The white oracles are isolating themselves from the issues of the immortal world. They don't want to be in trouble. I guess there's nothing we could do to convince them," Leanna said in a sad tone. She knows that white oracles will not sacrifice themselves so it's going to be a hard task for them.

"Well, at least we have to try," Princess Ana uttered with hopeful eyes.

"She's right! Maybe we could do something to convince them, we just have to try," Lyndon added.

"Where can we find this white oracles?" Diane asked Leanna.

"They live on the most secluded part of this forest. Far from everyone and from the enemies. In fact no one knows how to get there. They are so careful with letting others know about their exact location," Leanna stated which made everyone hopeless, well except for Princess Ana of course. Because she's really determined to find them in whatever possible way.

"I don't think there's no way for us to find them. We just have to think carefully," she suggested.

Leanna thought for a second, then she remembered that white oracles only eat pears. And the only place where pears grow is the north side of the forest.

"I think I know where to start!" Everyone stared at her waiting for her to reveal her plan.

"We have to go to the north side of this forest where there are a lot of pears growing," she told everyone.

"Then, what are we going to do with those pears?" Diane asked trying to figure out what she's up to.

"White oracles only eat white pears throughout their lives. I'm pretty sure we are going to find a white oracle there and we could follow him secretly to reach their place," she suggested.

"That's a bright idea Leanna!" Princess Ana complimented her.

"You're so cool Leana," Lyndon praised her as well.

"Unlike someone here," he added trying to mock Diane.

"Are you pertaining to me?" Diane irritatedly asked him.

"What if I do? What are you going to do?" he challenged her. And before they could even start fighting, Princess Ana Mae stopped them.

"Guys, we're in a serious situation and we need serious solutions not some nonsense arguments," she told them.

"Sorry," the two said in unison before they glared at each other.

"Let's go, Leanna will lead the way for us."

*First Person's POV* Just as when I was about to blame myself, Leanna spoke, "No madame! The Gods did not sacrifice all of you!" The woman diverted her gaze to her. "And how did you know?" she asked while raising her left brow. "Because I'm one of the servants of the Gods. I am the guardian of the chosen one, and I know the whole story," Leanna stated while the woman stared at her with wide eyes. "So you're one of their accomplices? And you planned all of this just to know our whereabouts and sacrifice our lives once again? I really can't believe that the Gods could be that selfish! "No! I just want you to know the truth!" "We already know what the truth is!" the woman insisted."When we met the dark immortals earlier they told us that the reason why you hid yourselves down here, is that you are all selfish. But I did not believe them, because I don't want to judge someone without even knowing the truth. I just hope you will do the same with the God

First Person's POV; "ZION!" I heard Diane screaming Zion's name. She must've been worried about him but the big question in my mind right now is, why would Zion risk his life to protect me? I stared at his eyes but still I could not see any emotion from it. He's still as cold as ice. "Your highness ,you better not forget our mission. Don't be so careless, or you might get yourself killed," Stefan said and Zion automatically let go of me. It's as if he was burned or something. "Are you okay Ana?" Diane asked as she hurriedly run towards me. Lyndon and Leanna did the same thing and they started checking if I got wounds or bruises. "I'm fine guys, you don't have to worry about me," I told them with a smile. The three of them stared at Zion with confusions written all over their faces. They were probably thinking on why the hell would Zion save my life, when he's obviously one of our enemies wishing for my death. Well, I wonder the same thing though. Maybe it

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 43

*First Person's Pov*Our journey to the North side of the forest lasted for two dark days. We were all exhausted when we reach the pear plantation. The place was serene and just like the other side of the forest, we did not see even a single animal walking around. All we could see through the tiny light of the moon are tall pear trees with fruits shining as it's touched by the moonlight."How are we going to find the white oracles here? All that's here are pear trees," Diane said frustratingly."Haven't you heard what Leanna told us before we came here? Pears are what the white oracles eat. So I'm pretty sure we're going to find one here!" Lyndon told Diane with a glare. I can't believe these two are starting to have their quarrels again."Guys please just be quite. We're not trying to let them know we're here and run off, aren't we?" I hushed them out."Sorry Ana, it just that there's some grinch over here!" Diane rolled her eyes at Lyndon."So you dare to say that I'm a grinch?

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 42;

*First Person's POV*Just by looking into his eyes I realised how much I've longed for him. And in a split second I found myself drowning in the valley of his gaze as I danced with the rhythm of my heart. I don't need a love like Romeo and Juliet's, nor of Edward and Bella. What I want is a unique and pure love whom I can call my own."Zion," I mumbled as the wind gently blows, touching his face. He stared at me emotionless, it's as if he doesn't even know who I am. How come? I thought our love was unforgettable. But it seems like I'm the only one who thinks that way."Oh my dear cousin." I was pulled out from my fantasies when I heard my cousin's voice."Amira? What are you doing here?" I asked her in disbelief. Don't tell me, that she and Zion came here together? My questions were answered when she clung to Zion's arms and smirked at me."Oh my dear cousin, it seems like you have fallen in love with someone you don't know," she told me with a smirk."What are you talking about

*Third Person's POV*"That chosen one is starting to piss me off!" Velion shouted angrily after receiving the news from the raven he sent to follow Princess Ana Mae."I did not know that they could easily know the secret on how to defeat those spirit knights," Amira said in disbelief. Velion stared at her angrily and she nervously swallowed the lump in her throat."And you! You're a coward! You should've fought with her instead of leaving those spirit knights alone!" he yelled at her. "You could've defeated her since I have given you a lot of powers. But you're still useless!""I'm sorry my king, I promise to do my job better next time. Just please don't punish me," she begged. She's too scared to be killed. She don't want to die without avenging her mom. Besides, all her efforts would be in vain if Velion would kill her now."Surely you will. Because if you fail this time, I will kill you without having a second thought," he warned her. "I promise my king, just tell me what you wan

  • Ember Of Love   Chapter 40

*First Person's POV* The woods were covered with darkness and just like when we first entered this forest, we did not see even a single animal. Not even a chirp from a bird could be heard. "It's getting creepier in here," Diane whispered to me while biting her nail. It's some kind of mannerism for her whenever she fell nervous. "I know but we still have to travel to the North part of this forest. We need to find the white oracles as soon as possible," I told her. And with the tiny light from the moon, I saw her pout. "Yeah but don't you think we need to rest a bit? Those dark spirit knights drained all my strength," she complained which made me chuckle. "I think you're right. After all we're all exhausted after that intense fight ,we all deserve to rest," I agreed with her. "Let's look for a safe place to camp," Lyndon suggested. We all agreed and look for a safe place to stay. Leanna walked farther from us so she could check if the area is safe.
