Chapter 89

Staying on my hands and knees, I slowly waved my arm out as I scooted forward. That stupid chair should be here, somewhere. Finally, my fingers grazed passed the cold metal as the boat shifted to the left. My stomach did a little twist that raised all the hairs on my body. I better not get sea sick in here!

Picturing what the chair looked like, it would be easy to just melt the metal into one solid rod that I could sculpt. It was hard doing this in the dark but I was able to heat the metal up enough that the chair was now bent in a little cube. It was slow work for sure but using on hand, I was able to squeeze it together and pull out until it was shaped like a spear. While the metal was still hot, I extended my fingernail and started putting in grooves in a spiral down the rod so it looked like one giant drill bit.

Unfortunately, I had to wait for it to cool before I could see if it was even going to work. With my other hand on the wall, I moved it around until I felt the crack of
