Matteo's words knocked the air out of Olivia. Gasping, she shook her head not able to digest the information which he just threw at her, "What do you mean? D-Don't tell me she's a-"

"Mystical and hypothetical creature. Indeed, she is one amongst them." Matteo affirmed, the solemn look on his face confirmed to her that he was not bluffing.

"N-No. That's not possible." Olivia murmured and stumbled backward.

Her eyelids felt heavy and a searing pain constricted her chest. Matteo quickly grabbed her when she started wheezing. Her lungs got choked and she felt her heartbeat tapering.

"Mom!! Mom, open your eyes." Matteo blabbered in fear and slightly patted her cheek.
