"How long is it gonna take?" I asked Damien while munching on the Doritos.

"We're almost there." He replied while veering the car to the left.

I nodded and shifted my gaze back to the window. We were driving through a dense forest and instead of being a romantic ride, it was simply boring. The weather was clement but it wasn't appealing for me as my mate was being grumpy.
