Claire's POV.

I knew he was not backing off, I saw the rage, wickedness and disdain in his eyes, my body trembled at the closeness, my heart was heavy as at my eyes, tears were brimming in my eyes, they dropped from my eyes but they didn't move him, he wasn't affected by it, his face was still stern and expressionless and his eyes scary.

He was my mate, I tried convincing myself that he was just vindictive, I did understand that my mother was his mate and must have hurt him but he had no right whatsoever to take his anger out on me, I didn't choose to be born as their child neither did I choose to be his mate.

"You will be a good girl, sweet Claire and do what your Alpha wants you to do!" with a sinister wolfish grin on his face, he commanded.

I shook my head and tried looking away but he clenched my chin harder.

"I am not feeling well, I feel dizzy and sick, please don't touch me" I begged him, I knew the mate bond existed, I wished he could show me some mercy.
