KIRA

Kira knew she should not have let her anger get the best of her. Even if Dimitri was planning to let her loose, her provocation that she would contact the Whitakers forced him to double his attention on her.

And so, Kira stayed almost practically chained to Dimitri for the next few days. She ate with Dimitri at all times, she slept in his room, and though she always fell asleep on the sofa, she woke up in his bed. And she remained glued to his side twenty four seven.

While Dimitri worked throughout the day in his study, Kira read and tore books apart -- she read to do something, and ripped them page by page just to annoy Dimitri. But he did not comment on it. He just let her do whatever she pleased, as long as she was in his sights.
