Chapter 12

KIRA

When Kira came through, she felt exceptionally stiff, rigid and hungry. She was in a well lit room and was occupying a super cozy bed. A soft chirp of various birds could be heard at a distance, and a far away laughter of kids reached her ears.

As Kira dragged herself out of bed, she stumbled slightly. Why were legs so damn stiff. She shook her entire body vigorously to allow the blood flow to properly reach her limbs. Then yawning still, she stepped out of the room. But as she walked out, her eyes fell on her reflection on the large mirror by the door. Her clothes were different than what she was wearing before… Feeling awkward and conscious, she pulled herself together and decided to find her captors. She walked out of her room and found herself in the small living area – where a large book case was placed along with a large sofa set. She stepped out this living area and found that her room opened up to a large courtyard and for a moment she was blinded by the dazzling sunligh
