After two days, Ana was no longer disturbed by Hendrik. She felt calm again until news came from Rico, who said that Hendrik was hurting herself in prison.

"He loves you so much that he doesn't want to eat, drink, or even knock his head."

Ana shook her head in disbelief. Where could the cruel man be such reckless?

"I can't believe this."

Ricardo looked worried when Ana fell silent. "I can't hurt this girl because the boss forbids me, so how else should I persuade her to come to him?" He spoke silently in his heart.

"That is the case, and I would rather not get involved."

"He loves you to the point of being able to do that, but you don't even care."

Ana glanced towards the door of the cake shop. Some customers want to buy cakes. "I still have a lot of work to do, so please don't waste my time caring for him."

Ana went inside the cake shop. Rico couldn't prevent it because he would instead not make a fuss there.
