A Poison I Couldn't Resist

“Get up now” the way his voice sounded calm and at the same time, authoritative baffled me. I didn’t stand up even though the vibration of his hoarse voice struck fear into my heart.

My eyes were still shut. One thing was certain, I wasn’t going to stand up from where I lay.

“We both know you aren’t sleeping, Leia” He said but I remained still. God, I wasn’t even breathing. I had to take a deep breath, but I was scared I would move too much if I did.
