Chapter 31

Dylan's POV

I walked back into the room, expecting to see Ava waiting for me, but instead, I was met with a scene that made my heart skip a beat. Ava and Jasmine were standing face to face, with Ava looking like she'd tear Jasmine into shreds if given the chance.

I quickly moved between them, my hands on Ava's arms, holding her back. "Ava, stop," I ordered, looking from Ava to Jasmine. "What's going on here?”

Ava's eyes flashed with anger, but she seemed to regain control of herself quickly. She took a deep breath and stepped back, her eyes never leaving Jasmine's face.

“She came in while I waited for you,” Ava explained, “then she started throwing insults before attacking me.”

My eyes went wide in fury before it landed on Jasmine, I knew very well she did what Ava said so I questioned, my tone disapproving.

“Why would you attack her?”
