Dylan's POV

I stood at the window, staring out at the bustling of pack members as they went about their activities. My mind, however, was still racing. The Doba Mountains were still very much in the list of most important things. In fact, it is a challenge waiting to be conquered. And I was determined to make sure it was indeed conquered.

As I stood there, lost in thought, I heard a knock at the door. Kane came in, his expression serious. "Dylan, we've got a problem," he said, his voice low.

I turned to him, my eyes narrowing. "What is it?"

"It's Jasmine," Kane replied. "She's not happy about being hurt. And she's talking about going to Phil."

My jaw clenched. "She wouldn't dare."

Kane shrugged. "You know Jasmine. She's unpredictable. But if she does go to Phil, it could compromise our entire mission."

I cursed under my breath. I hadn't thought about Jasmine's potential betrayal. But now that Kane mentioned it, I knew it was a possibility. I had to take care of it, and fast.
