The trial: Part two

Alice's point of view:

Today is the day...

I never knew my father in person, but I believe that his soul would rest in peace, knowing that the one taking his life would get what he deserves. 

I wore a white formal dress, put on a similar makeup to the one I've had a day ago, and let my hair down. 

Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I was more than just satisfied. Not that I was good-looking, but I was looking more confidant than I was a few months ago. It wasn't because of the makeup or the dress; it was something in my eyes. 

The incidents that happen lately weren't all the best, yet, it keeps making me stronger. I made my way out of my room toward the hall where the trial would be held. On my way, guess who I met. 

" Alice!" Hunter called my name, causing me to face him.
