Standing before the several faces of the witches sitting across the table, I knew it would definitely be a long evening.

"Kindly explain how you have a connection with the humans and how it is related to your mother's death." The queen instructed and just when I would open my mouth to speak, she halted me. "I need you to understand that if you fabricate stories and you are caught on perjury before the council, we would have you executed. So choose your words carefully." I cleared my voice, so I could be audible.

"Standing before this council, I wish to reveal that the human you kept in the dungeon saved me from the witch hunters, the very night I brought that head home. He was instrumental in the Killing and I won't admit that he may be harmless." Some of the council members murmured amongst themselves.
