Birthday Tears

I haven't seen or heard from Mason in a week. I've been so worried, I didn't even realize it was my birthday until I heard my wolf. 

'Hello, Alexandria. I'm May, your wolf.' I was jumping for joy. I finally got my wolf! 

'Hello May! It's nice to finally meet you!' I replied. I could feel May in my head pacing back and forth.

'Is something wrong, May?' I questioned. I've heard many things about wolfs, but my mom told me that our wolves really only get anxious if something is wrong, mainly with our mates. 'Something feels wrong. But please, ignore me. I'm very glad to have finally come to you.'

I was walking towards the pack house, when I smelled something so delicious, my mouth started watering. It smelled like freshly baked cupcakes. My favorite. As I started getting closer, May started talking to me. 'It's mate, but something is wrong. Find mate!' I rushed into the pack house and ran into Luna Samantha. 

"Oh goddess! I'm so sorry Luna! I didn't mean to bump into you like that!" I quickly yelled. Luna Samantha smiled, and pulled me in for a hug. "I'm so sorry, dear. I truly loved you like my own." She whispered. I pulled away and cocked my head at her. What did she mean?

"Pardon me, Luna. But what do you mean?" I questioned. My heart was pumping so hear I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. "Mason is in his room, love. Please, go speak to him. And if you ever need anything, please let me know. No matter what, I'll always love you." With that, Luna Samantha walked away. 

I stood there for a minute, trying to wonder what she was talking about. But then the scent hit me again. 'GO FIND MATE' May yelled in my head. It snapped me out of my trance, and I headed for Masons' room. As I stood infront of his door, my heart continued pounding. His scent was very strong, so I could tell the smell was coming from him. But something was off. Mixed with his scent was something vile. Like raw sewage. I knocked on his door, but no answer. 

I grabbed the key to his room he gave my out of my pocket, and quickly unlocked his door and walked in. I never could have prepared myself for what I saw. 

Mason was sitting on his bed, and the Omega that gave him a seductive smile at school, was sitting next to him. Masons' head shot up, his face filled with panic.

'Mate has been marked by that she-wolf. 'REJECT HIM!' She screamed. My eyes wandered to his neck, where I saw it. She marked him. I was in shock. I couldn't do anything but stare at the mark.

"Alex...." Mason whispered. The Omega, Jacy, looked over at me and said,  "Oh, Hi Alex! What are you doing in my mates room?" She gave me a devious smile. I looked over at her, and I could feel May talking through me. "He's not your mate. He's MINE!" May yelled. May went into the back of my mind, whimpering. Hearing her so sad broke my heart. But, it made me angry. I just got my wolf, and now Mason has already made her upset! He let some she-wolf mark him! And I was his mate! He even said I was his future Luna!

"Jacy, get out." Mason growled. Jacy put her hand on his, and he quickly pulled his back. "I SAID GET THE FUCK OUT JACY!" His Alpha aura pouring off of him made her bare her neck, and she quickly got up to walk out. As she passed me, she whispered "Make it quick, Alex. I want to be alone with my mate." I resisited the erge to punch her in the throat. 

"Alex.... Let me explain." Mason said as he walked towards me. I backed away, not wanting him to touch me.

"Explain what? Explain why another she-wolf marked you? When I'M YOUR MATE?" Hot tears started pouring down my face. I couldn't bear to look at him. My heart started acking.

"Alex I didn't let her! She just did it while we were..." He stopped and put his head down, looking at the floor. "Doing what, Mason?" He didn't answer. I felt the anger in me getting stronger and stronger. "Doing WHAT MASON!?" I yelled. He looked up with tears in his eyes.

"While we were.... having sex. She did it without me knowing." I wanted to hit him. I really wanted to, but he was the future Alpha, and I know he could over power me with no problem.

I heard Luna Samantha walk into the room. "Mason, Alex? What's going on?" She questioned with a sad look on her face. "Mom.." Mason answered. "Honey, I know you're upset because you weren't his mate, but the Moon Goddess works in mysterious ways." Luna said to me. My fists balled up immediately. 

"You're right, Luna. The only problem is..." I started, turning towards Mason. "Alex, please! Don't." Mason whispered. 

"The only problem is, is that he IS my mate. And he cheated on me with Jacy! She marked him while they were having sex!" Luna looked at Mason with fire in her eyes. Her eyes glazed over, and I could only assume she was mind-linking Alpha Brian. 

"WHAT DID YOU DO MASON!" Luna screamed at him. Mason hung his head down once again.

"Luna, it's okay. There's one thing I can do to fix this." I looked up at her. She had a questioning look on her face.

"I, Alexandria Rivers, daughter to Beta Edward and Joyce Rivers, reject you, Mason Jackson, future Alpha of the Green Wood pack."

Mason dropped to the ground holding his chest. "No! Alexandria, No!" Mason screamed. I could feel my heart breaking, and it was excruciating. But I wouldn't let him see that. I turned to walk out, giving the Luna a half smile. "I'll always love you too, Luna. Thank you for being so good to me all of these years."

With that, I walked out. As I was walking down the hall to the stairs, I could hear Jacy screaming. Alpha Brian came around the corner. He looked pissed, but his eyes softened when he saw me. I ran up and hugged him, finally letting the tears fall.
