Elizabeth found out that David had spent an enormous amount of time preparing for almost everything.

Predators showing up to attack his home, David prepared fences and traps.

Are these enough to hold off that dragon-like creature? 

Food shortage? David already has a stock of dried meat and fish. He has already planted some form of maize. He also regularly fishes some of the serpents in the waterfall pool. 

How did David find corn? Are there already domesticated plants here? I’ll ask David later.

The elevator breaks down and suddenly falls? David installed a manual break which if needed could be used to stop the elevator.
