The mind link was cut off brutally.

I decided to go home and pack all my belongings. I didn't want to leave anything I'd bought for them to enjoy.

When I arrived home, I found Blake wearing casual clothes, carefully supporting Ivy as they strolled through the garden.

It looked like they'd been walking for a while. There was a thin layer of sweat on Ivy's face.

Blake gazed at her tenderly, gently wiping away her sweat. He'd even thoughtfully prepared her favorite tea.

"Blake, how did you know this is my favorite flavor?"

"We grew up together. How could I not know what you like?"

"You're so good to me, Blake."

They laughed and embraced each other. I watched coldly, finding it almost amusing.

Blake had never shown me this kind of gentle consideration.

He was the heir to Bloodclaw Pack. He always said he was busy with Alpha heir training and pack affairs.

In our eight years together, even when I wanted him to go shopping with me, I had to schedule an appointment with Blake in advance.

Blake demanded that I handle all the trivial matters in his life, silently playing the role of his future mate. But he'd never cooked me a single meal.

As his fiancée, he didn't even know I was allergic to mangoes. Once, when accompanying him to a business dinner, I accidentally ate mango and broke out in allergic hives all over my body. Not only did he not care about me, he was disgusted that I'd ruined his business meeting.

But now, he'd not only pushed aside his Alpha heir duties to stay with Ivy during her pregnancy, he could even thoughtfully remember her favorite tea flavor.

Blake saw me and snorted, making an "I knew it" expression.

Ivy greeted me warmly: "Aria, you're back! Want to join us for dinner? Blake specially prepared it for me. You've never tasted Blake's cooking, have you? I absolutely love it."

I silently walked past her, heading inside to pack my things.

"Stop right there!" Blake suddenly stood up, his face dark and terrifying. "Ivy is talking to you. Please have the courtesy to respond. Don't you have even basic manners? Do you think you're qualified to be Bloodclaw Pack's future Luna acting like this? If you keep disrespecting Ivy, I'll refuse to mark you!"

I slowly turned around, pulling my lips into a cold smile:

"How exactly do you want me to respond? Should I thank her for eagerly bearing my fiancé's child, letting me become a mother without any effort? Or should I rush up and slap her a few times, calling her a cheap homewrecker and telling her to get out of my house?"

"You!" Blake choked, his veins bulging with rage.

"Ugh..."

Ivy suddenly covered her mouth and dry-heaved, tears appearing instantly.

Blake asked frantically:

"Ivy, what's wrong? Are you feeling terrible?"

"Blake, I'm fine..."

She trembled as she grabbed Blake's sleeve, but turned to me with tears streaming down her face.

"Aria, this is all my fault. I don't want to live in your house either, but I really have nowhere else to go. I'm an Omega, and I'm pregnant. If you and Blake don't take me in, I won't be able to survive in the pack. I-I'll leave immediately after the baby is born. I won't disturb you and Blake anymore."

Then she suddenly touched her belly and sobbed:

"Baby, I'm sorry. Mommy doesn't want to abandon you, but mommy did something bad and must accept punishment. I'm so sorry..."

She started dry-heaving violently again, collapsing completely into Blake's arms.

Blake looked at me with pure hatred, as if I'd committed some heinous crime.

"Are you satisfied now?"

I scoffed and turned to leave.
