I clutched my chest desperately, tears finally pouring out uncontrollably.

So that was it.

All these years, he'd only valued my family's power, never me.

In a daze, I remembered that year when I'd snuck out and was surrounded by my father's enemy rogues. My father's assistant, a beta wolf, was severely injured protecting me. Just when I thought I'd lose this important family member forever,

Blake had led his pack's warriors to rescue us, even sending their pack healers to save the beta's life.

I had just come of age then. I was incredibly grateful for his life-saving help, and when I tried to express my thanks, he confessed to me and began his relentless pursuit.

He'd never directly asked for help from me or my family. All those behind-the-scenes arrangements had been done by me in secret.

How ridiculous. I'd been worried he'd refuse my help if he found out.

In that instant, I suddenly realized my eight years of devotion hadn't just been betrayed - it had been trampled on.

The basement door was pushed open. Blake clearly startled when he saw me, then frowned:

"Why are you crying? Get out! You're annoying to look at!"

I forced down my disgust and stood up, running toward my bedroom.

The moment I pushed open the door, a chill crept up my spine.

The bedsheets had been changed to purple lace - the style I hated most.

My photo on the nightstand had been replaced with pictures of Blake and Ivy together.

In the closet, not a single piece of my clothing remained.

The entire room reeked of Ivy's Omega scent.

Blake's voice came from behind me:

"The guest room was too small. With Ivy's belly growing, it's inconvenient. The master bedroom makes it easier for me to take care of her."

Ivy timidly added:

"Aria, you don't mind, do you? Don't worry, after the baby is born I'll..."

"Oh." I cut her off directly. "Where are my things?"

Blake looked away:

"I had the servants move them to the storage room. We're combining the other guest rooms into a luxury nursery. Only the storage room is left for you to stay in."

I was silent for a long moment, then nodded: "Fine."

In the storage room, my custom gowns were carelessly thrown on the floor, jewelry scattered in dirty corners like unwanted trash.

I took a deep breath and looked mockingly at Ivy, who had followed me in:

"Are you here to provoke me? Do you know how expensive my things are? How do you plan to compensate me?"

A flash of embarrassment crossed her face, quickly replaced by an innocent expression:

"Aria, what are you talking about? Blake had the servants pack these. I didn't do anything."

I sneered and pointed at the shoe prints on my gown:

"The servants did this too?"

"So what if I did? No matter what I do, Blake will always side with me. I'm the one he truly cares about. So what if you're an Alpha's daughter? Your father is just as stupid - they've all been fooled by Blake."

"Don't you dare talk about my father!" Even knowing she was deliberately provoking me, I couldn't tolerate her insulting my father. My anger allowed my wolf to overcome the Alpha's dominant pressure.

A vicious gleam flashed in Ivy's eyes, but she pretended to be frightened and backed away.

"Aria, please leave me alone!"

Then she suddenly screamed and pretended to fall backward.

Blake rushed in just in time to catch her.

Ivy immediately clutched her belly and sobbed:

"Blake, I didn't do anything. Aria wanted her wolf to kill me and the baby... Thank goodness you came, or the baby would have..."

"I didn't!"

Murderous rage flashed in Blake's eyes. He grabbed my throat and slammed me against the wall:

"You think I'd believe you? When did you become so vicious!"

His grip was terrifyingly strong. I could barely breathe, struggling desperately to squeeze out a few words:

"I really... didn't..."

"Enough! I don't want to hear your excuses!" He laughed coldly in his fury, throwing me hard to the ground. "Go back to Stormfang Pack and be Alpha daddy's little lapdog! When you realize your mistakes, then come see me!"

The Alpha wolf threw me with such force I felt my ribs crack.

I staggered to my feet.

I knew his heart was completely biased toward Ivy. No matter what I said or did, I would always be wrong in his eyes.

And today was supposed to be the day of our mating ceremony. But this was how he treated me.

I closed my eyes. "Blake, let's break up!"

Kane caught his wrist easily, his superior strength evident."Was," Kane growled, his wolf's voice distorted and menacing. His usually perfect hair hung limp and disheveled.Gone was any trace of his former gentleman's demeanor."Look at what you've become," I said quietly. Blake's words left me speechless. I was actually amused by his shameless logic. How could he kneel there, blood still on his face from abandoning me, and demand I break my bond with Kane? The audacity was breathtaking."You're unbelievable," I whispered, shaking my head. "Do you even hear yourself?"Blake's eyes flashed with desperation. "Aria, I'm begging you! I'll do anything!"Kane, who had been silently standing behind me, finally reached his limit. His entire body tensed, muscles coiled like a predator ready to strike. His face darkened as he gently pushed me into the fitting room, his voice deadly quiet: "Stay inside. Don't come out.""Kane—""Please," he interrupted, his hand trembling slightly as he touched my cheek. "Trust me."I nodded obediently, recognizing the dangerous edge in his tone. Through the door crack, I watched Kane loosen his tie with deliberate slowness. Each movement was controlled, calculated.I couldn't help but worry for Blake. He had no idea what he'd just
