Ex-Husband After Divorce

"Finally." Lydia muttered softly, gasping for breath, holding a map in her hand.

 The 25-year-old woman looked up at the man sitting directly in front of her. A cold man who has so many expressions other than angry, confused, flat and cold. Oh, and maybe satisfied that it's done.

 "It's a pleasure to work with you, Mr. Reino." Lydia extended her hand to the man who was now her ex-husband.

 Reino didn't shake Lydia's hand right away. He saw the thin hand first, before his long pause was accompanied by a breath of relief.

 "I hope we don't have to work together anymore." Reino replied with his characteristically cold expression.

 Lydia actually felt angry, but she tried to control herself. This Reino was still her boss in the office, so Lydia just smiled.

 "Arrange payment as soon as possible." Lydia could still hear Reino's lazy phone call from his lawyer next to him.

 Lydia felt annoyed with that lazy way of talking. Even if there's nothing else to do, he doesn't have to be so cruel, does he? Reino is the one who offered the job in the first place.

But suddenly Lydia's phone rings quietly. There was a text message from his bank account. The message said that the transfer was about a billion. It's enough to make Lydia smile.

 "That's all that matters now that I'm free and rich." Lydia muttered from the courtroom.

"Order whatever you want. My treat." Lydia called to her three best friends.

 "Are you sure?" The fat woman questioned her friend's decision.

 "I'm a thousand percent sure. I get a big bonus anyway, so just order whatever you want," Lydia replied arrogantly.

 Lydia's best friend no longer felt guilty. When else would they be gathered in a fine restaurant in a five-star hotel.

"Uh, but how you get your bonus. I mean, usually you complain about how stingy your boss is." Lydia's friend who is sitting across her asking questions. A little curious about his rich friend.

"The new products introduced at the end of last year are very satisfactory. I, being a new employee, have also benefited a little." Lydia's answer was an exaggeration.

"Actually, I should have been able to treat you a month ago, but there were some new products that caught the attention of the whole office. Not to mention that our finance department is always busy and working overtime at the end of the month, so there's that."

 Lydia spends a lot of time talking about her work. It's something she always does when she gets together with friends. Unfortunately, this was interrupted by a ringing phone. Or rather, a video call.

 Lydia's eyes lit up when she saw her ex-mother-in-law's name on the screen. And since none of her friends knew that she was now a widow, Lydia had to step aside to answer the call.

"Good evening local time, Mom." Lydia greeted reflexively as usual. She had forgotten that the woman in her late fifties on her cell phone screen was already an ex-in-law.

 "Good afternoon Denmark time, sweetie. How are you?" Her former mother-in-law greeted her.

 "Fine, thank you. And how are you?" Lydia replied looking a bit confused. There seemed to be something strange about her question.

 "Are you out? Are you having dinner with Reino?" Her former mother-in-law asked, looking at the background of where Lydia was standing.

 Hearing her ex-mother-in-law ask about Reino made Lydia even more confused. They had divorced a month ago, how could they have dinner together?

 "Reino didn't say anything?" asked Lydia a little hesitantly.

 "What should I know, Lydia?" She asked confused, but a smile soon spread across her face. "Are you pregnant?" The ex-mother-in-law asked with a happy face.

 Lydia couldn't bear to say that they were divorced. It's just too cruel for her sweet ex mother in law.

 "That's not it, Mom. I'm not pregnant yet. We're just-"

 "We're planning on it, so don't worry."

Lydia jumped at the familiar baritone voice. Not to mention the breath that felt close to her neck. Without even looking, Lydia knew who the voice belonged to, and because he was so close, she didn't dare turn around.

 "Oh, so you have a date? Am I interrupting your date?" The ex-mother-in-law asked with a broad smile, not at all disappointed by the previous statement.

 "Yes. And I'm sorry I'm late, darling." Reino lightly pecked Lydia's cheek, making her freeze.

 "Well, enjoy your date and don't forget to give Mom and Dad a grandchild soon." Lydia's former mother-in-law quickly ended the call.

 As soon as Lydia's phone screen went black, the faint smile on Reino's face immediately faded. He immediately straightened his tall frame and looked at Lydia with his usual condescending gaze.

"What was that, sir?" asked Lydia, recovering from her shock.

 "My parents don't know about our divorce. And you have to hide it." Reino replied flatly.

 "But we're already separated, sir. Will-"

 "I don't want to know." Reino cut Lydia off, then quickly stepped into the restaurant.

 Lydia closed her eyes in annoyance. She tried to control her emotions, not to explode in a public place like this.

 "Be patient." She muttered as she stepped back into the restaurant.

 Unfortunately, Reino sitting not far from her table made Lydia sigh. She was no longer emotional, but it was still annoying to see Reino's flat face. Even in front of a beautiful and plump sexy woman.

 Lydia easily guessed that the woman was Reino's bedmate tonight. If his favorite woman was like that, it was only natural that Lydia always got a look full of contempt. Her body was almost as straight as a board.

 "Do you know her?" asked Lydia's most charming friend.

 "The man is my boss. I don't know the woman." Lydia answered honestly.

 "What a scary face. I'm surprised such a famous model would want to be with him," the fat one replied.

 "This is Reino Andersen. It's only natural that all the women want to be with him, he's crazy rich," the beauty replied.

"I don't care." Lydia decided to ignore her boss and her ex-husband. After all, they would no longer be in contact except for office matters.

 At least that's what Lydia thought for days. But who would have thought that the reality was different.

 "How could that be?" Lydia screamed in horror, staring at the man lying naked next to her. Exactly like herself.
