IN OUR WORLD, NAMES HAVE A EXTREMELY STRONG POWER OVER A PERSON. To the point where it's neither your parents nor anyone else but the Oracle who chooses it. When a woman gets pregnant, she goes to the Oracle and it tells her a phrase that will describe the kid, and from that phrase, the name of the child is chosen. Mine is 'The well-behaved child who comes to help you in the dark'! And from that, my name became Nsomi Eileithya D'Arcy. Nsomi means 'a well-behaved child'. Eileithya means 'she who comes to help you'. And D'Arcy means 'dark' and it's the surname of my family.
