Willow's POV

“Ohh, I thought of reading it out to you.” He said, a mocked smile plastered on his face. “But come to think of it. MVP? Who were you referring to? Me or your brother? We are the only MVPs on the team. And I can't believe you are the infamous VAD.”

I was quiet, hoping the ground would open and swallow me. I felt exposed under his scrutiny. It felt like he could read me like an open book.

“Give it back. You have no right to read my diary.” I tried again, in a bold voice to hide how shaken I was.

“Jesus. Damn. You are writing erotica about your brother because we'll know you hate my gut.”

“I didn't say that. Give me my book.”

“I saw all the bad things you wrote about me—including that I am only having sex with different girls to fulfill my big ego and the fact that I can't get it to stand up. Do you hate me that much to write this lie about me?”

“Well, it's hard to not dislike you. You are arrogant and rude.” I rolled my eyes.

“Hmmm. Earned. I'll give you your diary, but on one condition.”

Nope. I don't like where this is going.

“What condition?” I forced myself to say.

“You will write a new story about me. Tell how much of a good person I am, including that I can very much get it to stand.” He said, looking at his lower region.

“Hhhhh. Not going to happen. Give me my damn book back.”

“I guess you don't want it then,” he said, raising the diary up more. “If you don't believe I can stand it up. You can check.”

Sometimes I curse how short I am. If he didn't have my whole life in his hand, I would have slapped him and walked off.

“Fine. I will do it, and I am not interested in seeing your STD-limping dick.” I spat. “Now give me my book.”

“No, not until you do as I say.”

“I give you my word.”

“Not with me. I don't believe you. Do as I say, or this whole book is going onto the school website.” His voice turned menacing.

“Fine. You'll get your stupid story.” I gritted, half thanking God that the papers with the dirtier stuff aren't in the diary.

“Good girl. Now ride along.”

“Jerk.” I muttered as it dawned on me that someone I didn't like knew my secret.

What have you gotten yourself into, Willow?

***

“Willow, come help me with this. Take them to the storage room.” Tina's voice jolted me from my haze.

“Everything?”

“Yes. Hurry.”

“Alright.” I adjusted my bag and picked up the gloves.

I got the storage door to open with so much difficulty, and the scene playing out in front of me made me freeze at the door.

Lucas was grunting, taking a mouthful of the girl's boobs. Hockey and cheerleading uniforms scattered around.

He repeatedly drove his hips into her pelvis; she was a moaning mess.

It sounded so familiar until she spoke, and all the stuff in my hand went flying.

“Oh, Lucas. You are so sweet. Don't stop.”

It's Delaney.

They jumped apart, and I was right. I can never forget that voice.

Delaney freaking Quinn! My tormentor! The same person who almost sent me to an early grave in high school is here. With my brother. Not just with.

Having sex with him. My whole body was shaking. My heart became heavy. Bitterness bubbled in my throat.

I don't know if it's from the hurt of seeing my brother with another girl.

I should be used to it by now. I mean, she's not the only one he's had sex with. He used to bring some of them home.

Or the fact that this person is a different breed. The devil herself. Whose sole existence on earth was to destroy me.

So much for moving away from Sterling Falls and hoping I never cross paths with her.

“You…” Delaney went off with so much hostility.

“Willow.” Lucas let out a nervous laugh, cutting her off, “I didn't know you were there. We were just trying to arrange the shelf.”

I didn't know why he treated me like that. Like a Child. Like I don't know what sex is.

It hurts sometimes, but I hope that someday he'll see me. Just me and no one else.

“You know her?” Delaney asked him, a malicious look masked with a surprised one on her perfectly pancaked, smudged face.

“What do you mean, Delaney? Willow's my sister.” He said, “The one I was telling you about.”

Realization dawned on her, and her face went through so many emotions before it lit up in excitement.

Only I know what that means—I was praying for the ground to swallow me earlier. Now?  I’m praying for sudden death.

“So you are Lucas? Oh my God.” She hugged him and gave me an icy smile that made me shiver. “Such a small world, huh?”

It's now Lucas' turn to look confused. “What do you mean? You two know each other?”

“Silly me. Where are my manners?” She walked up to me and embraced me tightly, whispering in a slow and daring voice. “Behave yourself. I am warning you.”

She turned to Lucas, who looked lost. “You already know my name, so no need for that. Willow and I used to be friends in high school… before she moved.”

“Oh wow. Really a small world. Willow, you never told me about her.” Lucas asked.

“Maybe she didn't want to talk about it, seeing how we parted ways.” She gave him her best innocent face. “It wasn't on a good note.”

“Ahh, I see.” He fixed his shorts and wore his clothes. “I'll leave you two to catch up then.”  and with that, he walked out…

‘No, please don't go. ‘Don’t leave me with this monster,’ I kept screaming in my head.

Delaney started laughing hysterically as soon as he walked out.

“Wow. I thought you moved to the extreme end of the world where no one could come find you.”

That's hot.” Someone said“I… uhm.” Hell, I only had my first kiss in the last seventy-two hours, so how do I make out for ten minutes? I would orgasm right here. It was becoming harder for me to breathe, and I knew sooner, my panic attack would kick in.“Aww. Are you crying?” She dabbed my tears in her hand. “Don't cry. I have not even started with you.” Her well-manicured palm landed on my cheek, the force knocking me down.I couldn't help but relive that night, in senior year, when she caught me with my skirt and underwear down—two fingers going in and out of me, moaning Lucas's name so loud—I thought
