Chapter Thirty One - Not Anyone

I walked out of the guest chambers as I was assigned to and into the hall, where Alpha Scott stood waiting for me. I wondered how Dwayne was faring, had he eaten? Did he sleep well? Was he also missing me? I couldn't mindlink him because I was too far away.

I was going to finish my work here this morning and return to Crescent Hills as soon as possible. I was getting homesick.

“Let's drop the honorifics, Nova, it is a bit overwhelming.” I frown at his words, can Alpha Scott get any more annoying because I felt like taking his tongue out of his mouth, at least that would stop him from spitting nonsense.
