When he accused me of trying to flirt with him, I narrowed my eyes at him, and then I arched my eyebrow. “Flirting with you? Now, you are imagining things, Stefan!”

“Am I just imagining it, Bethany? The way you look at me is different and I noticed it the moment I picked you up,” he claimed.

I wanted to tell him that it was because of what happened a long time ago but I couldn’t come up with the right words. So, I ended up biting my bottom lip and then he raised an eyebrow before shaking his head in disbelief. What have I done? Everything just went wrong since I arrived at the plantation!
