***Jacob’s POV***

Gardening and cleaning up the front yard took up most of her time while I made sure to prepare something delicious for Bethany. Regret and remorse bothered me a lot after slapping the woman out of jealousy. I couldn’t forgive myself after doing that but the moment I saw her talking with Stefan, rage filled my heart. I couldn’t breathe properly while trying to decide whether to approach them or not. I trusted Bethany, but I couldn’t trust my brother, or anyone for that matter, except for Dale.

Before meeting Bethany, my father constantly bothered me about taking a wife, or I would lose my title. The title didn’t mean a lot to me. What I cared was just about my happiness and I couldn’t be bothered about taking care of the pack or leading them.
