CHAPTER 2

Sydney was now in the cafe. It was night and it was close to closing time. She was wiping the counter down and sweeping. She went over and changed the sign to closing and went and fixed the chair. She went in the back and changed her clothes. A figure went in without her knowing. This Alpha has been watching her ever since she started working there. He would come in every time and order a latte and sandwich. He would stay there until it was late evening. This was his routine.

After Sydney was finished changing to take up her bag and walked out of the back and grabbed the key and walked to the door. The Alpha went and hid and watched her. She walked to the door and was about to open it. The Alpha walked up behind her with a cloth and walked up behind her quickly and put the cloth over her nose and mouth. Sydney widened her eyes and started to struggle and fight him off. He held the cloth closer to her nose and mouth. She fought until she got weak and stopped and fainted. He looked and laid her on the floor and widened his eyes.

He started to pace around the store. He looked at her and took her up and walked out with her. He carried her bridal style outside the cafe. While he walked outside. He saw a car pull up at the cafe. He went inside and placed Sydney behind the counter on the ground and acted like he worked there.

Jacob got out of the car and went into the cafe. He saw the close sign but he saw the unknown Alpha behind the counter. He went up to the cash register and looked around and everything looked cleaned and tidy. He felt like something was going on and didn’t know what. He couldn’t place his finger on it.

“Hello Welcome to Sunrise Cafe, what can I get you?” The Alpha said and was trying to hide his nervousness.

“Hello, you seem to have tidied everything already. I don't want to mess up too much,” he said in a calm voice.

“Well, I’ll just clean it again, what do you want?” He asked in an impatient tone.

“Well I’ll have 2 Grande iced matcha and BLT sandwiches,” He said as he watched the alpha.

“Okay,” the alpha said.

The cash register was locked off. The Alpha looked and acted like he dropped something and looked for the key in Sydney’s pocket. He found it and turned on the register and entered the order and rang up the total.

“That will be $20.80” He said and Jacob nodded and gave him the right amount.

The alpha took it and put it in the register and gave him his receipt and went to make it. Jacob watched his movement and went to sit. He knew something was wrong so he texted Kevin.

Hey bro, come to Sunrise Cafe…something feels wrong here’ He texted and put his phone away. He looked at the Alpha and decided to make small talk.

“Where is that Omega from earlier?” He asked.

“O-oh, she went home early…she got sick” The alpha lied.

“Oh, she was really cute…I wanted to get her number, do you happen to have it?” Jacob said.

“No i don’t have it, sorry…I just started working here” he lied again.

“Ahh, okay…I’ll just come back tomorrow,” Jacob said.

While the alpha was making the order,a phone rang and he widened his eyes. It was Sydney’s phone. It was ringing loudly.

“Aren’t you gonna get that?” Jacob asked.

“Oh, let it ring,” he said and went back to make the order.

Some time later, Nia walked into the cafe and was confused and looked around and saw three Alphas in the cafe and she looked.

“Have any of you seen the barista that works here?” she asked in a stern voice.

“No, that guy said she went home” Jacob said and he ate.

“Bullshit.” Nia said and looked around.

“What’s wrong?” Kevin whispered.

“Why is there 3 Alphas here and she’s the only Omega and besides it closing time. I just came from our house and she’s not there. Now one of you is gonna tell me where the hell she is or I’ll call the police.

The alphas looked at her. They thought she was joking but the look on her face was serious. The stalker got nervous and opened his mouth.

“I was about to lock up when they came and now they are eating, I’ll close up when they leave,” he said.

“Look, I don’t know any of you and I don’t want to get to know any of you. I just want my best friend” She said and took out her phone and called Sydney’s phone. Sydney’s phone rang out in the cafe and they all looked around.

Nia looked around and was unamused.

“Is this some fucking prank?” she said.

“W-what no!” The stalker said and Kevin looked and got up.

“Why don’t we all calm down?” He said.

The stalker was getting nervous. Nia walked over to the counter and looked over it but the stalker would block her view.

“Move out of my way now.” Nia said and the stalker.

“You can’t look over the counter,” the stalker said and he looked at her and pushed Nia.

Nia fell back. Kevin went and helped her up.

“You all are gonna stay here!” The stalker shouted and took up Sydney off the ground.

Nia looked and widened her eyes. The stalker placed her on the counter and covered her. Jacob looked at her and was about to get up.

“NO! Stay where you are!” the stalker said.

Nia looked at her best friend and got angry.

"Why are you doing this creep?!" Nia shouted.

"I ask the questions around here! You will follow what I say until I let you all go!" the stalker shouted.
