CHAPTER 4

The shadow figures looked and went in silently. They went in and stole almost everything and they left. They came in like a hurricane. They swiped the whole apartment and left. Nia woke up and went for some water. She took it and looked around and screamed. Sydney shot up and ran to her and screamed. Nia cursed and went to look for her phone and called the police.

“WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON!?” Nia said and looked for her phone and couldn’t find it.

“Those thieves took our phones and laptops!” Nia said.

“Nia calm down, your heat will get triggered,” Sydney said and Nia cursed.

Sydney sighed and went for her old phone. She found it and ran to Nia. She went and called the police and told them what happened and they told her they will come soon.

At Kevin’s house, a butler went up to the room and he went in. Kevin and Jacob looked at him and were confused.

“What’s wrong, Mr Healy,” Kevin said and looked at him.

“Sir, the police have been sent to Miss Nia and Sydney house, there seems to have been a break in and robbery,” He said in a British accent.

They widened their eyes. Mr Healy left the room and Kevin got up and ran to his closet and put on sweats. Jacob ran downstairs and went to his car and started. Kevin ran to Jacob’s car and got in. As he got in safely, Kevin sped off to Nia and Sydney’s house.

At Nia house, Sydney was cooking breakfast for her and Nia. Nia was on the phone with her brother and she was very upset. Sydney signed and took out her inhibitors and some water. She went and gave Nia. Nia looked at it and took it and rubbed her head. She went for her vape pen and went to the balcony and used it. Thirty minutes passed and Kevin and Jacob reached. They got out of the car and looked for the apartment. They found it and went and knocked. Nia was already angry so she went to the door and opened it.

“WHAT?!” she said and looked and widened and slammed the door and moved away quickly.

Jacob and Kevin looked at each other with eyes widened. Sydney looked at her and was confused and went and opened the door and saw Kevin and Jacob.

“Oh, hello um come in come in,” she smiled and opened the door wider and moved away. They both went in. She closed the door.

“I'm sorry for how the place is right now, we were robbed,” she said and smiled and went into her room and went for Jacob’s coat.

Nia walked out and was calm and she looked at them and smiled. Kevin looked at her and smiled.

“Well, I can see that you are mighty angry,” Kevin said and Nia nodded.

“Well, yes, as you can see, we have been robbed and its all they took were stuff we bought,” Nia said and she nodded.

“Well, there has been a lot of breaking in the area so I think we were just a victim of it,” Sydney said and gave Jacob his jacket.

Jacob looked at it and smiled and gave her back. He told her to keep it and with mating season coming up soon, the alpha wanted to protect Sydney from horny alphas. Sydney smiled and took it and put it on the rack. Nia looked at them confused and crossed her hands.

“Wait, how did you both figure out where we live? Are you spies?” Nia asked.

“Well, that’s a secret~ we can’t reveal our identity,” Kevin said and Nia cringed.

“Well that was cringe-worthy. If you were a spy you are a terrible one at that,” Nia said and Sydney smiled.

“Look at the way you are dressed, who the hell wears leopard print and striped pants out? Are you a clown?” Nia said and Kevin looked down and blushed. Jacob looked and laughed and held his tummy.

Nia laughed and went into her clothes and took out some brand new clothes and gave him. Kevin took it and went to get out his outfit.

“Why does Nia have male clothes?” Jacob asked Sydney.

"Well, there are days where I would go out and alphas would harass me so Nia dressed as alpha and had on the fragrance and then we would go out,” Sydney said and smiled.

“So how did you find where I live?” Sydney asked and sat down and Jacob sat beside her.

“Well, we aren’t spies so I asked around,” he said but it was a lie. She nodded and smiled.

“Well, my name is Sydney Blair, I’m twenty-one years old and I was born in Ottawa, Canada,” She said and Kevin nodded.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Jacob Kn- Lee, Jacob Lee and I’m twenty-five” he said and Sydney smiled.

“And it’s nice to meet you too…” she said and blushed.

They both talked and got to know each other and got to know each other. After some time, the four of them went out. They are going shopping for clothes and food.After that, they all went back to the apartment. The alphas helped them with the bags and went in with them. They set everything down. Jacob sat on the sofa and watched Sydney and bit his lips and smirked. Kevin saw and snapped his fingers for his attention. Jacob looked at Kevin and sighed.

“What are you doing bro?” Kevin asked.

“Nothing, I was just looking at her,” Jacob said.

“Well, be careful of the way you are looking at her. You look like you are stripping her naked,” he said and looked at him.

“Well, I’m just looking at her. I need to get laid, I’m stressed and up to my balls with investors and clients at work,” Jacob said and Kevin smiled.

“DO what I do, flirt with her, compliment her, get her to want you that way,” Kevin said.

“How is that working for you?” Jacob asked.

“Well…good!” Kevin said and he nodded and Jacob shook his head.

“Well, you and Nia seemed to be hitting it off,” Jacob said.

“Yes, she is a tough cookie but that won't stop me,” Kevin said.

“Let's make a bet, whoever gets the girls to fall for them first wins, whoever wins, will have to do the others' work for a month,” Kevin continued and smirked.

Jacob looked at him and smiled and smirked and crossed his arm and thought about it. He smirked and nodded.

“You have a deal,” Kevin nodded.

It was dinner time and they were all eating and getting to know each other. They talked in between and laughed at jokes. Safe to say it was a beautiful dinner. The alphas were getting ready to leave. They wished them a good night and went to the car and drove to their house. Sydney sat down and looked at the jacket and smiled. Nia noticed and smiled.

"You like him don't you?" Nia asked and Sydney blushed.

"haha, you like him, well he is cute and looks like your type," Nia said and grabbed and cigarette and put it in her mouth and light it.

"What about you and Kevin?" Sydney asked.

Nia cough and rubbed her chest and looked at Sydney and laughed.

"He's cute when he tries, but I wont fall for him, he reminds me of my ex...flirting to get me then in end is just another player, so I'm letting him use all his techniques and wear him down..." Nia said and looked at Sydney.

Sydney nodded and laid on her shoulders and hugged her arm. Sydney, felt like Jacob loved her long but she wasn't sure and she wasn't gonna make the first move. She sighed and closed her eyes.

Jacob reached Kevin's house and dropped him off. Kevin got out and went in. Jacob sighed and drove to the club. He just wanted to release the stress. He reached and went in and looked around. He went to the bar and sat down and ordered his regular drink. He sat down and drink and looked at around. He saw alot of Betas and Omegas. He saw them but he didn't chose any yet.  Mintues passed and he looked and smelled a familiar scent but somewhat different. He looked around and saw a short hair girl beside him.

The girl looked and smirked and went to him.

"Well hello there handsome~" she said.

"Hello there, are you new around here?" he asked and smirked.

"Yes, I just came here" she said and smiled.

"Well, I can show you a good time~" He said and ordered a drink for her and him. 

She went closer to him and sat beside him. He smiled and they talk. After some time they left the club and went in the car. She pulled him buy the collar and kissed him. He held her was and kissed her. He put her in the car and went in and drove home. He reached and got out. He went upstairs with her while kissing her and she smiled. He went in to room and they both enjoyed the night. 

The next morning he woke up and saw the girl in the bed. He sighed and got up and went to the bathroom. He game out and saw the girl sitting in bed. He smiled and nodded.

"I can see you are the clingy type" He said and got dressed.

"Well I can fall inlove easily," She said and got up and went to him and hugged him.

"Leave. Now." he said sternly.

She looked at him and got dressed and walked out and slammed the door.

"I WILL GET YOU BACK!!!" she shouted.

She called an uber and went out. She was furious. The uber came and she went to the cafe where Sydney work.
