I laugh. “What blessing, man.”

“I know. It’s truly a blessing.”

“I mean, what are the odds that my father’s usually lavish birthday party would come in so handy at such a time?”

He sighs. “I know, right.”

“Hmm. But are we setting that the road will be completely cleared that day?”

I close my eyes slightly, nodding my head.

“Yeah well, you’re right on that. Even the streets might be empty because the whole pack will be at the palace.”

“Exactly, man. We can finally get out of here.”

“Yes man, finally. We can get out of here and get all these people to safety. Even if Ravenspire will not work for now, we can always try for it again in the near future. We just have to get out of here.”
