CHAPTER TEN

-TITANIA-

We were strolling past what Neru termed pack houses when he gave me a bottle of cold water. After finishing my meal, I decided to view the beautiful countryside outside rather than continue to have my breakfast in the opulent but chilly mansion.

"Thanks, buddy," I muttered in a contented voice and slouched down on a bench under a large tree not far from the playground where the children were playing. Then, because I felt so full, I patted my middle. 'I guess I ate a lot.'

Because I haven't eaten since the morning. I neglected to realize how hungry I was since I was too focused on confronting Thanus about my missing earrings.
