Frantically searching through the shelves, I ran my fingers along the books, biting my lip as if I didn’t find it.

Where the heck was it?

Panic threatened to overwhelm me as I bit my lip in frustration, cursing under my breath. Where could it be? I had placed it here just that day, hadn't I?

My mind raced as I tried to retrace my steps, grasping at any memory that might lead me to the elusive item. But try as I might, the answer eluded me, slipping through my fingers like grains of sand.

Taking a deep breath, I forced myself to calm down, knowing that panicking would only hinder my search. With renewed determination, I continued to scour the shelves, refusing to give up until I found what I was looking for.
