We’ve been on the road for six hours now. Sky was quietly asleep at the back of the car since we got up early. I stretched the blanket on his body to cover him up properly before I lifted my mask and lowered my face cap so I could focus on the road.

I was identified as a kidnapper a few weeks ago and honestly, it didn’t bother me. Human affairs could always be dealt with later especially since I didn’t kidnap the kid, he followed me. One day our journey will end and that was no time from now or so I hoped.
