Chapter 51: Lillian

As I watch the screen of Jordan’s phone, I notice that the signal seems to be moving at quite a quick speed. 

“Turn here!” I cry out right before Jordan gets to the corner.

Screeching the tires, he makes a hard left and then we see it.  There is a moving truck in front of us and it looks familiar.  Just like the one that was outside our house that day. 

Seeing it pick up speed, Jordan slams on the gas pedal and follows them.  In hot pursuit, I watch as it turns around the next corner to the right, not even stopping at the stop sign.  Too late do we see the speeding vehicle from our left, right before it slams into his side of the front end. 

“Shit!” He screams before slamming his fist into the steering wheel.
