He stops talking as he lets out a low, rough groan. He then whispers, but it seems he did it loud enough for me to hear, to the female on her knees in front of him.
“That’s it, my darling, suck a little harder. I want you to get me close…”
He then returns his attention back to me.
“You will be accompanying me along with Charmine to the King's Alpha Convention. You are to assist Charmine and not to bring attention to yourself or what happens between us. Is that understood?”
The pack itself is good and well cared for. However, no one besides Charmine and Randall knows the way he treats me. I don't even think that Candace does. Wanting to get out of the office before the female on her knees in front of him has finished, I say.

ANNALISE…I ignore her and walk back over to the black dry-cleaner bag and smile as I reach into the bottom and pull out matching red heels. I slip them on and then walk over to where Charmine is still standing at the door.
