Chapter 3~Power and Memories~

Damien says " while angels can forward time or go back in time, demons can freeze time, but they can also freeze humans soo were safe from the police when you're with me M'lady~"

She blushed and flicked him "don't call me that!!"

He laughed and finally they did son turns and they were out the door. Damien hid Elizabeth and himself in a bush nearby and started to explain how to defeat or purify a demon.

"You have to focus and think, focus too hard and it points on yourself, which won't harm you, but it doesn't help your wings make you fly. And please focus on them and shoot them not me"

Elizabeth stares at Damien for a second " ill try not to " she smiled innocently. She then started to focus with her hands in a ball-holding position and sparkles appeared at first and then it was a ball. "Look!!" She put it near him, and he jumped back, and then she remembered, putting her straight face back on

"Right, now let's get rid of this bitch" Damien sarcastically gasped " she cussed!?" Elizabeth rolled her eyes at him and peeked out of the bush only to be face to face with a red-faced demon,

"Hello there dear~" she grinned wildly.

I turned around and kicked the nurse in the face hard-I have some awesome fucking reflects! - I thought until the demon got up and Damien dragged me out into the open. "Remember not near me, ok?" I breathed and nodded "why would I wanna hurt you? ~" I said sarcastically "don't Wanna ruin your cute long hair~"

I was in a good mood and just had to make him blush a bit-which it did-He blushed and mumbled backing up, I made the ball of light and sparkles again and focused my aim, I didn't like the people in the school because they made fun of me a lot for being "too smart", but I knew I had to do this, or I will die and Damien would have to suffer.

-wait!!! Did I just think about Damien!? Welp great even though I just met his ass today-

I thought and then suddenly the nurse was in my face and I quickly did a backflip kicking her hard and then landing on my hand and pushing the ground away from me so that I kicked her and landed on her. "You got a death wish or something!?" I smirked and looked at my hand holding the ball of light and the nurse frowned " N-no please I-I was hired"

"And I'm tired, oh look we rhymed, bye-bye"

I put my hand around her face and got the ball of light back and suddenly I felt my back get a bit heavy and my eyes glow as I yell "Angel's arch!!"

She screams at it burns her and suddenly I'm lifted off the ground but it's not anyone holding me, I'm lifting myself. I turn and look at my back and the feeling leaves me and my eyes go back to normal "HOLY CRAP!?" I lose my focus and the wings disappear making me start to fall to the ground "Aaaaah!" I covered my eyes and just then someone catches me and holds me close.

"Shhhh it's ok M'lady I'm here now"

It was Damien and even though I was blushing I let it slide and ruffled his hair "you're stupid"

He laughed and got his face close as he lands with me and says "I'm your stupid devil baby and you're stuck with me~"

Damien carried Elizabeth home after she gave him directions

"Why can't you put me down again?" She said blushing a bit still "I can't let M'lady get her shoes dirty~" Damien said smirking, Elizabeth only rolled her eyes and said "just put me, down devil" He sighed and put her down "whatever M'lady wants~" She blushed and punch's his arm a bit" shut up Idiot" He laughed and walked her the rest of the way home. Once they were at her door he whispered in her ear "by the way~ were neighbors

he left, and she stood there in shock as he went into the house next to hers.

She sighed and went into the house, right away there was a plate thrown right past her head and it cut her nose a bit.

She looked around to see her mom and dad yelling and fighting again, she snuck away and went upstairs to the left, closeting her door silently, and looked out her window looking at the stars. Tears came down her cheek as she heard More yelling, she put music in her ears and sat on her bed crying.

        ————Memories———-

Elizabeth was only 4 years old when it started, mom had slept with someone else while drunk, and they were fighting non-stop. Elizabeth tried to stop and understand what's going on but that's how she lost her sight in one eye. Age 10- Mom tries to divorce him but can't because they don't have the money

    Age 11- Dad started to blame Elizabeth for their ruined family, so she now hides her legs underneath leggings or pants.

Age 11 1/2-she got a baby brother

    Age 14-the 3 years old was killed in the parent's rage and the mother was put in jail and divorced her dad, while dad was remarried too soon, Elizabeth Got another baby brother at age 8 and was a sweetheart.

Age 15- she got a bunny to help with her "random sadness" issues

Age 16(now)- She met someone and changed her life forever

An angels life isn't always pure and perfect my friends

I woke up to Sean, my little brother, hiding under my arms in my bed. I yawned and said "what's wrong buddy? -" then I heard the yelling again and Sean flinched, I mumbled and held Sean close, "it's ok I'm here to protect you, and I'll always be here for you" Sean calmed down and looked up at me with his deep blue eyes and I rubbed his head "I'll never leave you alone, I promise" I sat up straight "I promise to stay alive for you, I promise to be smart for you, and I promise I will never yell, Wanna know why?" Sean tilted his head

"Because I'm not like Hannah and daddy"
