  "Man, I hate math! But I'll just keep my mouth shut like always" I thought as I put my chin on the desk, laying my head on the desk and groaning silently to myself. The teacher cleared her throat, and I knew that meant " Elizabeth Helena get your head up and do your work" before she could say it though because the principal, Mister Electrical, came in and had an announcement so everyone's head turned to him. "Morning children, we have a new student", All the Guys whispered and wowed while the girls blushed and giggled to another as the new male student walked into class and stood in front of the chalkboard. “Hello, my name dipshit" Some people snickered while the principal cleared his throat and spoke, "This is Damien Blackbird, he was homeschooled at first and told his parents finally let him come into our school”. The teacher looked around for a seat for Damien to sit in, and I thought "Wonder who that unlucky soul will be". Just then though Damien pointed to the seat next to me and asked, "May I sit there sir?". I was very surprised when the teacher smiled and nodded, letting him sit next to me.

Then he just started to teach again after Damien sat down, and I mean it when I had never been so cold in my life! Right as he sat down it felt like a huge weight slamming into my head, I couldn't move for some reason, I was so scared until he spoke. "The names Damien but of course sure you already know that huh?" he spoke as if we were friends, well I'll show him "Mhm I know". He stared at me for a while then I sighed and said "The name’s Elizabeth, ok? Now stop staring". He snickered after biting his lip trying to be flirty and looked at the teacher and it was back to the cold weight again, so I raised my hand and asked to go to the bathroom but as I left to go I suddenly felt like someone just stabbed me in the heart! I froze and before I knew it, the screams of panic were around after I closed my eyes going into a deep sleep.

I woke up in the nurse's office, laying in one of the beds, and got someone's cold hand on mine and I looked over to find Damien holding my hand!? I snatched a hand away and he woke up from his sleep and looked at me, "oh you're awake?", he sounded sarcastic and not worried, but I just nodded, ignoring his rudeness. "Why are you here anyway devil?", for some reason he stood suddenly and said " h-how did you!?-" bit then he sat down and said, "ah right that what my name means" Well no fucking DUH!? Did he have to freak out like that geez? "Anyway, you’re up and ok so I'll go get the teacher" Right as he started to leave the pain came back and I held my chest where my heart is, and I couldn't breathe, and he noticed, and he sat right back down. But as he sat down the pain went away immediately? I ignored that fact and just told him to go get the teacher and I'll go back to sleep. He mumbled something that sounded like "bossy much" and he was gone, but I passed out before I could get him back over here as the pain came rushing back. Before my eyes closed, I thought to myself, what the hell is going on with me?

Damien P.O.V-

After I left, I heard her fall back on the bed and peeked in, she had passed out again. I wonder if she knows about the destiny waiting for us. That Is what I thought to myself before I got a pain in my head. "Tch!" I fell to the ground holding my head, she must be having that bad dream again, dammit. Just then my luck turned around because the teacher came by and asked if I was ok."Yes ma'am I'm fine I just got light-headed, anyway Elizabeth passed out again and asked for you" "Then what are we waiting for let us go, can you stand"

I nodded and we went back to the nurse to check on Elizabeth. We entered only to find she was sitting up and staring out the window. I swear to you that her eyes looked like they longed for the sky and the sun. Her eyes were a natural deep hazel, but they looked gold in the sunlight, and it was a breathtaking sight. I accidentally mumbled "I'm so blessed" And the teacher looked at me and Elizabeth caught us in there "Oh hello Miss M. and Damien" She seemed a bit better. “How are you feeling Hun?" 

"A lot better to be honest thank you for asking, sorry that I opened the window I just had a headache and needed it open" "No no it's ok it clearly made you feel better so it's all good" She looked at me and smiled a bit and I felt so warm and Fuzzy, as I smiled back I saw her shiver and I think my smiled scared her or something so I stopped, but then she looked away shivering in a different way. Did my smile warm her the first time? I smiled again and she smiled back, I swear the teacher was smirking. "Ok love birds what's up hmmm~" Elizabeth and I blushed and turned to her fast, "Nothing ma'am!" she and I said at the same time. Elizabeth crossed her arms and said, "plus we aren't love birds" The teacher just said "Mhm" and went to go tell the nurse while she left me stuck with Miss stubborn ass over here. "So how are you feeling," I said before taking a seat next to her.

"Still dizzy, why do you care?" "Real question is why don't you care enough; Damien raised his eyebrow and said, "don’t you know me?" I laughed and said,  "Not until just now dipshit" Doesn't seem like she doesn't understand or know yet?? "Ever heard of Everdale?" She looked very confused "Everdale? Land of the wings?" She shook her head and I sighed heavily. "Well, m'lady~ it's a land where we came from, our spirits at least, we are reincarnations of the two devil and angel fugitives “She looked surprised, and then after 10 seconds of silence, she burst out laughing.
