LOGINIt turned out three things could go wrong when alcohol and horror were mixed together, and I saw none coming.
I watched as Siri picked a movie, kneeling on her heels in front of me, and my eyes kept straying to her ass, how so round and biteable it looked in those tight pants of hers. And she kept moving on her knees, which meant her ass kept moving too. Was she doing this on purpose? As a “fuck you” for being half naked?
“There,” she said as she settled back on the blanket, coming to sit beside me. “This looks scary enough.”
The movie started with a scream, but I didn't take my eyes off her. She noticed me staring and glanced at me from her side-eye.
“It’s starting, sir,” she said, shifting.
“Right,” I said as I looked towards the TV.
The drinks and snacks were between us, and we indulged ourselves as we got interested in the movie, drinking slowly. But then thirty minutes into the movie, I noticed Siri shifting on her ass. I ignored it, because just sitting here, so close to her, not knowing if I was allowed to touch her or not, was driving me crazy enough. But then she shifted again. And again. And again.
I groaned softly as I turned to her. “Can you qu–”
My words turned to a rock in my throat, my eyes wide.
The first thing that went wrong was that that night I discovered Siri was turned on by the movie. By a horror movie. Fear turned her on.
That was… fucked up, and such a delicious discovery. I watched her with my eyes wide as all her attention was glued to the TV.
Her lips were parted as she breathed a little too heavily. Her cheeks were flushed a deep shade of pink, from the alcohol, and possibly from how turned on she was. And how did I know she was turned on, you might be wondering? Well, my wayward angel was rubbing her thighs together. She pressed them together for a while before she started rubbing them together. I looked away and turned my gaze back to the TV, though I was no longer seeing anything.
Fuck, who would have thought? Most definitely not me. What was I supposed to do about this discovery? Do I act like I know nothing? But fucking how, when my dick was already straining against my underwear? This singular piece of clothing on my skin suddenly felt like the wrong idea.
A scream came from the TV, somebody’s head blown open, and Siri jumped, squeezing her eyes shut. I glanced at her to see her raise the bottle of liquor to her lips, drinking from it like it was water, all the while rubbing her thighs together.
I looked away quickly, shifting to adjust my fully erect dick.
Fuck, fuck, fuck.
This was a bad idea. Or a good one depending on how this night went.
The second thing that went wrong was that Siri was a bad drunk, and I was helpless against this bad drunk.
She was fully drunk now, her guard completely down, and she no longer bothered to hide the fact that she was turned on by a horror movie.
I jumped when I felt her touch my arm gently.
“Jackson.”
I turned to her, swallowing when I saw the expression on her face. Her eyes were half-closed, cheeks now fully red, and lips still parted.
“Hmm?” I forced out, my voice too thick.
She still kept her hand on my arm, but she wouldn't meet my eyes. “I… I learned something today.”
I raised an eyebrow. “Yeah? What was that?”
She looked at me from under her eyelashes, and God, she looked like she was about to ruin me. “D-do you want me to show you?”
I knew I was going to reject it, but I said it anyway. “Yes.” And when she smiled, I felt like I just sold my soul to the devil.
She took one last swing from her bottle before she dropped it and got to her knees. She moved so she was kneeling in between my legs, right in the middle of my thighs.
“But first, I have a question,” she said, her voice low and making all the blood rush to my dick.
“Ask.”
She grabbed the hem of her shirt, crossed her arms, and slowly took it off. My breath hitched when her bare skin was bare for my eyes, her breasts held up by her bra, and her belly round and driving me fucking crazy as always.
“Do we only have sex when you have a game?” she asked as she tossed her shirt.
I swallowed, my eyes trailing over her. “No, baby.”
“Then why haven't you touched me since that night, Jackson?”
“I–” I raised my eyes to her heated ones. “I didn't know if you wanted me to.”
She scoffed like I was being ridiculous as her hands moved to her back, to her bra, and my dick jerked when I knew she was about to take it off.
“If I had things my way, we would never leave the bed and fucked like rabbits,” she said softly, and I… I did not see that coming.
“Then why didn't you make the first move if you wanted it so bad?”
She just shrugged, her bottom lip between her teeth. “I’m not that bold.”
She unhooked her bra before I could say something else and, slowly, agonizingly slow, took it off, and the sound I made when those breasts were free was pathetic.
“I love that,” Siri hummed softly, and another pathetic sound escaped my lips when she grabbed her breasts and squeezed them, rubbing her nipples.
She said something. Right? But all I could hear in my head was, “Shit. Shit. Shit!”
Fucking shit, because I'd been caught off guard, thrown off my feet completely, and not given a moment to catch my breath. And shit because what the shit was happening right now? Where did this woman suddenly come from? Was it the alcohol? Was that what was bringing out this… side to her? And fucking damn shit, because I was being a bloody idiot!
She was practically offering herself to me, and I just sat there frozen like a fool when I should have grabbed those beautiful breasts and dragged those moans out of her.
“I love how you react to my body, Jackson.” I dragged my eyes back to hers, and she was… she was smiling. Small. Sweet, and after my fucking life. “It makes me feel…” Her smile softened. “...nice.”
I should say something. I know I fucking should, but my voice and brain have abandoned me. Her smile turned sharp, cocky, and I knew I was in trouble.
“And I like shutting you up.”
I almost laughed. This damn woman…
“Now, Jackson, boo,” she said slowly, softly, “back to what I learned.”
She leaned in slowly, and I frowned when I saw her raise her bra to my face. My eyes grew wide when she placed it over my eyes… blindfolding me.
Yeah, fuck Toria and her stupid advice. Fuck that happy ending nonsense. Sure, I do want a happy ending with him. I want a happy beginning, middle, and ending with Jackson. All of that and more! Damn it, I had even been thinking of the perfect future together with him. Yes—and fuck you—I’ve been thinking of going somewhere with him, getting a house, three dogs, and maybe one cat. We could live like that for a few years, then get married, and decide if we wanted kids. I'd already mapped out the perfect future, the perfect ending. So yeah… Use him? USE him? How on God’s green earth can I use him when I was in love with him? I was madly in love with that man, and it made me realize that I was never in love with Michael. No. No, I was just in love with the attention and the idea of love, the idea that someone finally wants me. But this painful shit with Jackson? This soul-crashing devastation? Yeah, this was love. This was love in its purest, fucked up form.So how was I going to us
“I thought you might be gone already,” Toria said as we settled into my hotel room. “Jackson already booked my flight,” I said, opening a beer. “I leave in two days.”“Hmm. So what are you going to do till then? Stay cranked up in here?”“Probably.”“I could show you around, you know.”I thought about it for a second and shook my head, sipping my drink. “Thank you, but no.”I had thought about leaving and just going to tour on my own, but every time I thought about the possibility that I might run into him out there, I shook off that thought. Maybe I would have seen him with his hand around another woman’s waist, laughing with the boys and acting like that night didn't happen. But seeing him on screen tonight, I don't think any of that might have happened. I wanted to ask Toria what happened and why he looked that way, but then I might sound like I care, which I very much do, and I wanted to stay cool and keep up this nonchalant act until I was out of here. And so I sipped my drink
SIRIHe… lost. I stared at the TV screen in my small hotel room, my eyes wide, hands squeezed together and pressed to my chest.“He lost,” I whispered it out loud like it would make sense if I did so. I told myself I wasn't going to watch the game, that I would stay away from my screen and just wait for my flight back home two days from now, but I couldn't. I couldn't let the chance of seeing him, even though it was from a screen, slip away. As soon as his team had skated onto the ice and the camera zoomed in on them, my eyes had found him immediately, and I knew something was wrong. His skin was too pale, his eyes looked too sunken, and he kept flexing his wrists over and over, to the point I was sure everyone in the arena must have noticed. And I could have sworn that he was trembling. The game started, and it was even worse. Everything about the way he moved, to the way he could no longer hide his trembling, was wrong. It filled my heart with dread and panic. I couldn't relax a
PRESENTThe smoke of that cigar, laced with a chocolate scent, burned into my nose even though he was across the street. The scent was the same: the cigar lit, resting on his lips, lifted in a smile. A small smile, soft and gentle. Not like that frightening smile he had on his face that night that still sends a chill down my spine. Elijah M’Call still looked the same even seven years later. His black hair was slicked back from his face, dotted with gray. His grey eyes were wrinkled at the corners from age. His shoulders were still broad beneath his tailored suit, and black leather gloves covered his hands. He still looked and dressed the same. Nothing had changed. After that night, I had cut every tie with this man. I made sure I never heard a word from him or received a single penny. I moved into Jacob’s house, and his mother accepted me without a single complaint, letting me stay until I could rent my own place. I didn't speak to my mother for two years after that. She came to my

Reader discretion is advised. ~.~“I can think of a few things that can make you quit hockey,” my father said, his voice relaxed, but his face was filled with hell. He stood chest to chest with me, and I fought every instinct screaming at me to lower my eyes, to pull back. I fought them and stood perfectly still, not letting that dark look intimidate me.“What?” I spat. “Are you going to pay the coach to kick me out of the team? Then I'll just find another team to join.”“Jackson, please,” my mother whispered, and that just made my fists clench harder. Why was she calling me back and not her husband? He was the one threatening to take my dream away from me! My hopes for a better future, and still I was the one being called back? Did she really think I would just roll over and accept this bullshit? Bloody no. “That is way beneath me, Jackson,” he said in a low voice, acting li
SEVEN YEARS AGOThe sun had long since set, and the neighborhood was dark by the time I strolled in through the back door, my shoes tied together by their laces and hanging around my neck, my hands shoved into my pockets. Hopefully my parents were asleep by now, and I wouldn't have to deal with either of them. It was exhausting to look into their eyes these days and act like everything was fine when I harbored a little bit of hatred for my father. Okay, maybe it was more than a little bit, but I won’t tell if you don’t. I spent time at Jacob’s house long after practice, then came home and lied through my teeth, saying the coach sucked us dry with practice, which is why I was so late. You can’t blame me. The atmosphere in this house was depressing, and hearing my father whistle while he smoked his cigar, acting like all was right and fair in the world, was pissing me off when I could see my mother was losing weight, when I could clearly see she was losing her shine. She just needed
