Alexandria felt kind of guilty about what she did. She knew she had gone too far by breaking his windscreen but it was his fault.
He called her foolish for crying out loud, she couldn't contain her anger so she smashed his windscreen. He was a very rude man.'But a handsome one,' her inner mind stated. She couldn't believe she just thought that."Shut up," she said smacking her face lightly. She could feel the redness and hotness of her face. She knew she looked like a tomato right now.She couldn't help but feel guilty for what she did to his car but it was his fault for calling her talkative."It's his fault..," she mumbled as she got in the car.She checked the time on her phone and she couldn't help but feel angry again. It was already noon, she couldn't believe they had argued till noon and now she was late for work."Asshole..he made me late for work," she groaned as she continued to drive. She couldn't go back home because her boss would kill her with complaints. She was already fed up with working with him but she needed her job, she couldn't afford to lose her job at least not now that Stacy was not working. She pulled into the parking lot and parked her car in her usual spot. She picked up her bag and got out of the car."Good afternoon, Mr. Salvador," she greeted the old guard whom she had grown quite fond of. Mr. Salvador was one of the people who didn't make her feel bored whenever she was at work. She would sometimes have lunch with him during lunch break and that was when her creepy boss wasn't around."Good afternoon Andria," Mr. Salvador answered. He was quite fond of calling her 'Andria', he never wanted to call her 'Alex' or 'Alexa', so he called her 'Andria' instead."You're late, your boss is gonna vent out all of his anger on you, Andria," the old man warned in a whisper. The old man was also afraid of Peter Petrakis, her boss."Yeah, I know, an idiot made me late," she mumbled looking away from the old man."Uh...what do you mean?" the old man asked her, his black her looked at her with curiosity."Uh....nothing, Mr. Salvador...I better go before Mr. Petrakis killed him," she said and the man nodded. She went into the big building and she saw everyone rushing. She almost bumped into someone and the person didn't even bother to say sorry."What the hell is going on?" she asked herself. She shrugged her shoulders and went towards the managing department, the elevator wasn't working so she used the stairs. She eventually got there and she walked towards a door.'Managing Director "Peter Petrakis" ', the tag on the door said.'It's time to face Mr. Creepy,' she sighed inwardly. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door to find Mr. Petrakis on the phone."Hello sir, I'm so sorry.....I'll ta..ke care of iii..it sir," he stuttered.'Oh my ....the tables have turned,' she grinned inwardly as she folded her arms. She had never seen her boss shaking and stuttering before. He looked very pale like he was being threatened over the phone. She stifled a laugh when she saw him. He looked like he had just drunk a glass of vinegar because of the sour expression on his face."Okay,s...it, I'll make sure it gets done, I'm so sorry sir," he said to the person on the other line.Alexandria wanted to applaud the person on the other line for making her Almighty boss like this. She was told no one could make her boss feel like this except the big boss, the CEO of Cross Investment Company but she had never seen him.'Could it be him?' she asked inwardly."Miss Akins, I think you need to go to explain a lot of things," her boss's cold voice snapped her out of her thoughts."I'm so sorry, sir, I had a flat tire," she lied.'Oh God, if you can hear me, please save me from this man,' she begged inwardly, she wasn't ready to lose her job."How is that any of my business?!," Mr. Petrakis yelled at her. Alexandria flinched when she heard his scream.'Fool.....I'm gonna break your head if you yell at me again,' she threatened him inwardly. If she had the chance, she would have put chilly in his coffee a long time ago but she couldn't because he was her boss, an irritating man."I'm sorry sir," she said in a whisper but she wanted to punch him."You know, I gave you a very good offer but you refused my generosity," he said looking at her with his mischievous and wicked green eyes. She suddenly felt disgusted, he had once asked her to steal files from the vice president's office and she refused, that was why he treated her like dirt.'How dare he bring up that matter again?' she growled inwardly."You could be making millions if you did what I asked you to," he said again. This man was getting on her nerves but she quickly quenched her anger, she knew he was just waiting for her to make a mistake so he could get rid of her."I'm sorry for coming late to work but that doesn't change my decision," she said in a harsh tone."Too bad, you would've earned a lot," he said shaking his head."Excuse me, sir, I would like to get back to work," she said as she went out of the office and sat on her chair.Meanwhile, in the office, her boss laughed like a madman and slammed his hands on the table."How dare you refuse me Alexandria... I'm gonna make you one of my puppets very soon, you'll see," he threatened."I did it! I snapped out of those damn thoughts, all by myself and it feels so good!" Xander exclaimed with a wide smile, his blue eyes glittering with tears as he stared at both of his friends."What?," Enzo whispered, his hazel eyes dilating with shock and amazement as he jumped off the sofa."Are you sure? You look like you just escaped from a torture room," Zion said, staring at Xander with skepticism."Well, it was annoying at first but...," Xander paused, furrowing his eyebrows like he just realized something and didn't want to believe it."But what?" Zion asked, urging Xander to continue speaking."Then that annoying woman called, asking me about some stupid files," Xander said with a small frown."What woman?" Enzo asked, staring at Xander with a confused expression on his face.*Flashback* "No!," Xander yelled as he held his head in his hand, digging his fingers into the soft black hair as he tried to get rid of the negative thought in his mind.Collapsing on the hard floor,
"Should I call him?" Alexandria muttered as she paced around the room, staring at the phone in her hands. She didn't want her boss to think she was nosy but she couldn't help herself, she wanted to find out what happened to that arrogant boss of hers." He's my boss, the big boss! Why would he tell me about his issues, I'm just a secretary," Alexandria said with a small frown.'Ughh! Why is this so hard?' she groaned inwardly as she collapsed on the bed."Well, I will give it a try, he can't bite my head off from the other end of the line, can he? What's the worst that could happen?" Alexandria said with a shrug before dialing a number that was saved as 'JERK!'.She took a deep breath as she raised the phone to her ear.She bit her lips nervously as she waited for him to answer the phone. "Hello, what do you want?" a deep and husky voice said from the other end of the line. She jumped off the bed and stared at the window blankly without saying anything, her heart was pounding and sh
"What?!," Alexandria exclaimed, her brown eyes wide with surprise and a hint of worry. She cleared her throat nervously as she started at Stacy and Abigail."I mean... What happened? What else did Deyna tell you?" Alexandria asked, trying to look unaffected by the news."Nothing, she only said, her brother was going to meet Enzo and... Xander's your boss's name, right?" Stacy asked as she continued to stare at Alexandria."Yeah," Alexandria said, nodding her head vigorously as she bit her lips in anticipation."Oh... Xander is in trouble," Stacy said with a shrug."Oh goodness, what do you think happened?" Abigail asked with a frown.'Oh no, what happened to the fool now? Wait... Why am I even worried? It's his problem, hmph..., Alexandria said inwardly."How about you, Alexa?" Stacy asked, snapping her out of her thoughts "Huh? What?" Alexandria asked, widening her eyes as she arched her eyebrows."What's up with you? You looked like you were on another planet," Stacy asked with a f
*Donovan Residence* "What do you mean by you spent the night together?!," Deyna screamed, her topaz eyes widening with surprise as she gaped at her brother."Shshhh... Will you stop screaming? And we didn't spend the night together, I didn't say that," Zion said, glaring at his sister for misunderstanding him on purpose."Well... You slept in the same house, right?," Deyna asked, a teasing smile adorning her face."No, not a house, Xander's penthouse, along with two of her friends and Enzo and Xan... Why am I even telling you this?" Zion asked, furrowing his eyebrows."Because I'm your favorite sister and you love me, that's why," Deyna answered with a silly grin on her face."Yeah right, I don't have a favorite sister because you are my only sister and I'm not telling you anything anymore, you nosy brat," Zion said, rolling his eyes as he walked up the stairs."Hey! Come on, don't leave me hanging, I'm bored," Deyna whined."If you're bored, go get your books, read them until Sta
"Ugh... I'm never drinking with you guys ever again!" Alexandria exclaimed, opening the door to the apartment."Quit your whining already, it's annoying," Abigail scowled, collapsing on the blue couch.Alexandria glared at her, she was still angry at the fact that she woke up in the big boss's penthouse and she couldn't even remember what happened, she felt embarrassed."That's enough, both of you, I should be the angry one, it's my second day of work and I'm late, if I didn't have such an understanding boss, I'm sure I would've been fired," Stacy said, mumbling the last part but her friends heard her."Understanding boss my foot, he's only understanding because he's interested in you, fool," Abigail said rolling her eyes. Alexandria burst into laughter when she saw Stacy's red face."Shut up, he's not interested in me... Is he?" Stacy asked with an uneasy and bashful smile."Is he interested? Of course, he is! Can you imagine? They were flirting in front of me, as annoying as it was,
Xander narrowed his eyes at the woman who dared to call his full name while smirking at him. He sighed when he saw the rest trying to stifle their laughter."And how the hell did we get here?!," she exclaimed again, this time starting at Zion."Don't you remember anything?" Zion asked with a ghost of a smile on his face."No, all I remember is seeing you guys and ordering a bottle of tequila... D**n, we drank a whole bottle of tequila?" Alexandria asked with widened eyes."Of course, we did, you dummy and it was all your fault," Stacy snapped at her which made Zion grin."Looks like Stacy remembers," Zion said, grinning at Stacy.Stacy couldn't help the blush on her face as she started at Zion with sparkling eyes."Uh? How is it my fault? You could have said you didn't want it," Alexandria said, snapping both Stacy and Zion out of their daze."Yeah right, like we would be able to, bad influence," Abigail rolled her eyes."Hey, you came up with the idea of going to the club, not me, wh
