Standing beside the French window, staring at nothing, Naomi was immersed in her thoughts. Mrs Lavigne came near her daughter, she observed that since Naomi met Amaro, she was always pensive.
"Is there a problem?" Mrs Lavigne affectionately patted her daughter's arm who was obviously troubled.
Naomi snapped back from her deep thoughts. Her heart is troubled that her marriage with Charles will be three months from now. She tried to make her heart still, reminding herself that she and Charles were so deeply in love and they have Avril. However, no matter how she injects that idea in her mind and heart, it seems that they wouldn't cooperate with her. They screamed Amaro's name.
