Chapter 53: She is pregnant

Dmitri watches as Itzel walks over to the other side of the counter with the glass tumbler full of water in her hands. Drinking the content in almost one go before placing it in the dishwasher and moving out of the kitchen with hasty steps. Maybe she does not want him to make anything out of her actions but Dmitri sees through it. Ever since the 'falling' word has slipped his lips, she has been trying to avoid talking to or even seeing him as much as possible. And now he curses himself for ever saying that infront of her. Though Itzel is trying to come off as normal infront of him, like everytime she sees him, she passes him a smile which is rather a tight lipped one. Even now when Dmitri came into the kitchen to help with the lunch for today, Itzel was having some water but went out of here as soon as she saw him.

With a defeated sigh, Dmitri makes it to the kitchen island and begin discussing the menu for today's lunch with the cook. While doing all this though, he is even fretting
