Nate frowned as he watched the news. Taylor and her family were really getting on his nerves. A photoshopped picture of him and Taylor appeared on the screen, the lady reporting the news had even fixed a date for the supposed wedding.

Nate could feel anger and pain rise through him. He switched off the television immediately. This was clearly Taylor and her fathers doing.

Nate’s father, Mr Wesley Jacobin worked with Mr Wyatt for years. According to what his mother had told him, his father was best friends with Mr Wyatt before he passed on. They ran a company successfully and they were feared by their competitors. The profit from the company was split equally by both men.

Grace said there was no bad blood between them but when Wesley passed on, things changed. They stopped receiving their share from the company. Mr Wyatt and his wife shut them out from their lives and ordered that they do not set a foot in the company ever again.
