Flashback - The transformation ceremony 1

IN THE DONNER'S PACK✓

The third Luna barged into her daughter's room, "Ceri! Ceri! Come back here, I say." She shouted, grabbing her hand forcefully, walking into the room.

Princess Faricenda freed herself from her mother's grip, "I've told you mother. I'm not attending the ceremony tonight!" She folded her arm against her chest stubbornly as her mother looked at her, disbelieving that her daughter could say that.

The Luna grabbed her shoulder again, "You have no choice, Ceri. You have to go, everyone will be there." Her mother says and a scoff was issued as a reply, sitting down grumpily.

"And that's exactly the problem!" She fired back. "Everyone, it has always been everyone! Do you even remember today is my birthday?" She asks, looking at her mother through the corner of her eyes.

The Luna gasped slightly, "You see? No one cares about me but everyone cares about the pack." She sat at the front of her mirror with teary eyes, what exactly do they take her for?

Luna Iritt squatted to her height, "My daughter, your father cares about you and I care so much about you too." She cooed, rubbing her face but Faricenda huffed, removing her hand forcefully.

Princess Faricenda huffed again, she couldn't believe no one remembered her birthday, "Says the one who doesn't even remember her daughter's birthday." She fixed her eyes on the mirror and started fixing her hair properly as if it had never been brushed neatly as ever.

Luna Iritt sighed, "Look at you, you have grown older and beautiful." She straightened her hair in front of the mirror and Princess Faricenda rolls her eyes. I am as beautiful as a peacock - she praised herself disregarding her mother's praises.

"Mum please, I've told you and you can't convince me!" She said sternly, removing her mother's hands from her hair again stubbornly - what's so special about the ceremony exactly? She thought angrily.

The Luna sighed again, "Your father wouldn't allow me to throw a party for you because you haven't transformed yet." She says while Princess Faricenda rolled her eyes.

"But this is the least I could do, enjoy your day Faricenda." The Luna said and went out, Princess Faricenda faced her like she had just sprouted rubbish but she already left and she sighed.

Almost immediately, three maids came in - one pushing a covered dish on a riding table while the other two opened the curtains with the sun penetrating into every corner of the large room.

Princess Faricenda's eyes went wide seeing the color of the room change into a beautiful one, how come she has never noticed this? Like hell….

She was too angry to even notice anything. The room has been repainted, the bedspread has been changed, starlight was scattered in a beautiful manner around the wall, the curtains have been changed.

She went to her wardrobe, new designs of clothes had been arranged neatly in the sections of the wardrobe, even the mirror which she looked at just now is now in silver color.

She gasped, opening the windows and flowers poured inside, feeling the room with such a romantic fragrance. Mum remembered! - she thought but suddenly felt bad and sad.

She should have known, whenever her mum felt sad, that's when she calls her full name, Faricenda - Oh, my Luna Iritt!

"We are to dress you now, my princess." One of the maids bowed. She dashed out of the room without sparing the maids any glance at all.

The Queen was taken by surprise as the door flung open. "Mum!" Princess Faricenda rushed to her and hugged her emotionally.

Luna Iritt smiled, "You must have seen the surprise." She said and she nodded in response, smiling brightly as she was also almost crying.

"I'm sorry, I was just angry. I thought you also forg–" Her mother shut her up with her thumb, placed gently on her lips.

She shook her head, "I will never forget my only and precious daughter's birthday right?" She cooed and rubbed her hair.

The Princess squatted her hands away, "Stop rubbing my hair like that." She frowned, straightening her hair but it only became rougher.

"You are just like a young cub." Luna Iritt rubbed her hair again, "I am not a cub!" Princess Faricenda shouted, "I'm fucking twenty one now." She rolled her eyes.

The Luna chuckled, walking closer to her, "Ceri?..." She called, she thought her daughter would have changed her mind about the ceremony now that she was in a good mood, "Oh no! Mother, it won't work. I'm not going to attend that ceremony, not tonight!" Princess Faricenda scoffed, seeing the arranged boxes on the bed.

The Luna shook her head and smiled, "You are just as stubborn as ever and it seems to be growing worse as you grow." She said. Princess Faricenda rolled her eyes, picking one of the boxes. "Are these my presents?" She beamed.

Her mother nodded as a knock sounded on the door. "Come in." Princess Faricenda answered, her eyes fixed on opening the wraps.

Princess Reda comes in, dragging some luggages in. "Shit! Ree!" Princess Faricenda shouts and ran to her, colliding together - they both fell on the floor.

Luna Iritt giggled, she still remembered this two girls fight when they were little, they weren't close to being friends at all, "When did you get back to Reda?" She asked, Reda walked to her and bowed, "I came back yesterday, Luna." She answered and the Luna pulled her into a warm hug.

"And you never informed me!" Princess Faricenda scoffed while Princess Reda muttered a sorry, rubbing her cheek, "I miss you Ree..." Princess Faricenda jumped on her again.

"Ceri!" Her mother called her to order, "What??!" She fired, rolling her eyes. "Did you come for my birthday?" She smiled, pulling Princess Reda's strands of hair together.

Princess Reda smiled, "Partially, yeah but father wants to merge me with some pooper wolf." She stuck out her tongue, irritatingly. Prince Faricenda scoffs, standing up. "Good for you." She muttered.

"Bring in the bags." Princess Reda tells the maids outside and they march in with each maid carrying at least one bag. Princess Faricenda looked shocked. "Uhm…Ree? Are you back to stay this time around?" She asked, seeing so many bags.

The Luna seemed surprised too, "To stay in my room?" She asked. Princess Reda widened her eyes, "Oops!" She muttered, looking around.

"I totally forgot. I mean, you and the Luna always used the same color of paint so I thought the room was yours. " She explained.

"Sorry, my room isn't like this anymore." Princess Faricenda rolled her eyes, "It's now beautiful!" She squealed, pulling Princess Reda out of the room.

She went back again, picking the unwrapped gifts her mother gave to her. "Sorry, take the bags to…her room." Princess Reda instructed the maids and they had no option of course but they smiled, pulling the bags behind them and followed the girls.

Princess Faricenda looked so happy, her hands were full of presents, her full and long hair which kept obstructing her as she ran, she led the way to her room.

She flung the room open. "Damn! Cenda…this is so…" Princess Reda wowed, looking at the room full of flowers, on the ground, around the mirror, the wardrobe, in the bathroom, like the fuck!

Princess Faricenda grinned, "Looks beautiful right?" She asks, dropping the boxes on the bed and Princess Reda scoffed, "Looks breathtaking girl! I wished today was my birthday too." She cooed, checking the curtains out.

She rolled her eyes in response, "Sorry but yours was two months ago and you didn't even celebrate it here." She replied.

"I know right? But I'm sleeping here tonight!" She jumped on the bed which was also full of flowers, "What? No!" Princess Faricenda yelled.

Princess Reda almost ran out of the room, "Geez! You scared me…" She pants, "What type of voice do you even have? It's so loud!" She glared at her.

"Whatever. You can't sleep here tonight." She replied, opening one of the boxes, "Why? Your boyfriend is coming?" Princess Reda winked, smiling widely.

Princess Faricenda stood up and walked to the front of the mirror. "Goodness Ree, I don't have a boy..friend!" She groaned.

"What? You mean you haven't gotten any since last year I came home?" Thd Princess asked surprisingly, she could have gotten a handsome wolf already if she wanted to.

Princess Faricenda scoffed, "I don't need any. I'm still young." She replied, straightening her hair, "You are twenty - one now or is it till you clock forty two?" She asked, "I mean that's double your age now." She chuckled.

"In the normal realm though, ugrh! Just leave me alone. I will have it when I want to have it okay?" She flipped her hair backwards, "Whatever. I was just joking though." Princess Reda smiled.

"What are the bags for? I just said you are not sleeping in my room." Princess Faricenda asked, seeing the maid troop in with bags, Princess Reda stood up, "These are your gifts!" She gawked, pouring a bag to the floor.

"My God! Ree, all this…for me?" She hiccupped, her eyes bulging while looking at the poured out gift, "Oh please! Don't get too emotional now." Princess Reda cooed, rubbing her hair.

Princess Faricenda's face changed immediately, "I said, stop rubbing my hair!" She slapped her hands away, "Jeez! You were the one who wanted to cry just now." Princess Reda scoffs.

Princess Faricenda rushed to the ground where one of the bag's contents was poured, "Chocolates…." She smiled, picked a wrap and opened it instantly.

She stuffed it into her mouth, "Hmm…yummy!" She moaned, picking another wrap, "No thank you?" Princess Reda scoffed, checking the silver coated mirror.

"Sorry, thanks but no thanks." She replied, "Mom won't buy me chocolate anymore and here you are, I've missed you so much." She said.

"You are very much welcome." Princess smiled but her smile dropped seeing Faricenda rubbing the chocolate box against her chest dreamingly.

So, it was the chocolate she missed, what an insult! - She huffed angrily and sat on the bed, checking out the room again and smiling widely - Luna Iritt really knew how to spoil her daughter with good things.

Her eyes suddenly caught something, a covered dish on the table, "Cake!" She beamed on opening it, she wasn't the one who brought it - it must be the Luna. Princess Faricenda held the box and rushed to Princess Reda's side. "That's mine!" She queried.

Princess Reda eyed her, "And how is it yours?" She asked, cutting a part of it and they started fighting with the cake as it got smashed all over their faces and they laughed really hard, falling on the big bed with their stomach hurting until the door suddenly opened.
