Rose had been avoiding me since I arrived.  I had requested an audience with her several times with Garrison only to be told that it ‘was not necessary.’  What the fuck does that even mean?  All I wanted to do is thank the stubborn Alpha for taking the boy in and allowing me to stay a while to gain back my strength and humanity.  Of course Rose would deny my request.  She probably never wanted to see me ever again and was annoyed that I came back.  She was quick to get rid of me after having discovered I was her mate and lied to me about it.  Of course, this was still speculation as I didn’t yet confirm it true.
