Chapter 4:[The Invite]

Dawn.

I paced around my room nervously, unable to suppress my fidgeting fingers, the sky had already been replaced by glimmering night stars and beautiful twilight, an almost crescent moon already making its position on the sky but still kind of enough to give a little lambency.

I won't get killed if l decide to just stay home and not accept the Alpha's invitation right? I hate the feeling and the thought of going to a packhouse, l bet there will be so many people there and I can't help but remember the day l got killed, there were a lot of people that I couldn't even register all of their faces, brawling, throwing things at me, even pointing fingers at me and cursing at me and even though it might be different now, it still feels the same.

I don't know why the memory of how l was killed is so vivid in my memory, even more than my own name.

"Dawn, are you ready?" l startled at grandma's voice and her soft knocks, "You haven't dressed up yet?" She said closing the door behind her,
