Chapter 40

``The last time I was here was the first time I felt scared seeing what the seer could do.` Roy thought to himself. He stood on a spot thinking about what to do. He didn't want to have to approach the seer anymore as he thought she might still be there.

He walked slowly inside the hut to check if he would find anyone in there. He looked around but could find no one. He sighted the mattress that was at one corner of the hut and could notice that it wasn't dusty. He figured out that someone would still be living there.

He sighed knowing that they would have to stay there for the night and await whosoever was going to come meet them. He went back to meet Cara and his pack where he had ordered them to wait for him before deciding to scout around if it was safe for them to move on.

On getting back, he explained to Cara and Laurel, including Priya, what he had found. He told them that they had to be careful as he could not predict what was going to happen later. He led them back to the hu
