She forced her eyes open as she felt that someone was shaking her body. Emily hadn’t recalled how she was able to go back to her bedroom the night before. Frowning, she saw Laura’s familiar face, and that made her sit upright.

"Laura?"

"You’re such a sleepyhead. We need to prepare for the match now!" Laura said.

Emily grumbled as she heard the word "match". A sudden rush of panic went through her, and she instantly got off the bed. Her gaze went to the side table where there was a digital clock, and she realized it was only seven o’clock in the morning.

"I didn’t know that the match would be this early," she said, scratching her head in disbelief.

Laura folded her arms and gave her a wide-eyed look, an indication that she was not kidding when she said they had to prepare already. Wincing, Emily just nodded her head and immediately ran towards the bathroom to take a bath and wash her hangover away.

Had she known that the match would be happening in the morning, she would have declined
