Saveta showed Taylor and I to the suites that would be ours while we stayed in her home. I could tell that Taylor was bursting to ask me a million questions. The presence of human’s in the hidden away palace left her uneasy. I needed to rest and feed before I could comfort my mate. She had noticed how worn down the lack of blood had left me, but I continued to refuse to feed from her. She shared the blood of Apollo, and I had no way of knowing what that might do to me.
