I couldn’t hear anything over the ringing in my ears. The moment the hybrid beast had begun twisting the cell bars, Chuck had fired several shots into her torso. She had shot him a deadly glare as she clutched her chest and collapsed to the ground. While her skin didn’t seem to react to the silver while in human form, the small tendrils of smoke coming from the bullet holes seemed to indicate there was an internal reaction.
