Roman POV: “Nolan!” a huge man standing in front of a sportscar outside the hospital yelled, taking my friend's hand and shaking it vigorously. “Wow! Audrey POV: Few hours after that strangely beautiful occurrence, I had another vision. Not a dream, and not about wolves. It was about Roman. Audrey POV: I woke up in the middle of the afternoon after a short nap, but paused when I sensed a dip on the edge of my bed. Someone else was in the room. I opened my eyes to greet Selena immediately, but froze when I saw that it wasn't her. Roman POV: This was messed up. I'd stayed in a motel that was thankfully on the outskirts of the area, tossing what was left of my cash on them to get a place to sleep and a bite of food. It'd been a while since I'd been among humans, and I'd forgotten the manner in which some places took care of their surroundings. These ones were anything but neat, and I’d wrinkled my nose more than five times as I walked into the room they'd assigned for me. It was small, not dirty but still untidy, and I was tired, so I didn't have the energy to fight. However, as I woke up the following morning to sensing teeth on my leg and opening my eyes to see a rat there, I realized just how full of garbage this place truly was. Audrey POV: Selena squeezed my hand quietly as we sat in the therapist's office, her eyes conveying comradery and encouragement. But I found it difficult to calm down, my heart beating fast. We'd been directed to his office a while ago, and he was apparently being held back by something. That only served to add to my anxiety. “I told you, Audrey. Don't worry about a thing,” Selena said, her voice soft. “He knows exactly what he's doing.” “It doesn't feel like it,” I muttered. “Why is he late?” “It's out of place for him to be tardy, I have to say,” she responded, looking around. “But don't worry. I'm sure he'd be here soon. In the meantime, I need you to take deep breaths and just…well, just calm down.” I sighed, not finding it in me to refute her. To make up for my lack of enthusiasm, I quietened and looked around the office as well. I hadn’t had a good chance to look at the decor because of my nervousness. It was very minimalistic, but I loved the color scheme of the decor.
