Chapter 11 : Queries

Jade was the one who chose the dress. The heels. The accessories. I gave her the power to do so as I trusted her fashion sense, and taste. But looking at myself now— I think Jade went a little overboard. I was hoping it was just me, though.

The dress and heels matched. They looked pleasing together, but I didn’t think this sexy glamorous look was what I wanted to look like facing the Alpha. I mean, I thought we agreed I’d look formal and respectable. But instead, I looked like I was going to a… semi-formal party.
