They were sharing a room with twelve other ladies and they were also handed paper bags. The others were excited as they chattered and compared the clothes they got - skimpy ones. Alicia closed her eyes as she steadied her breathing. Why did they not run away earlier? Why did they think it would be easier to escape from a kingdom that already owned them?
